The Contest Results Are In

The results for the Marcher Lord Press Select Premise Contest are in and my submission came in sixth place.

The GOOD news however is - while my submission didn't make the top three Jeff Gerke-Publisher of Marcher Lord Press wrote: "...congratulations to all 46 of the other contestants in the premise-only contest. You all should be proud of your accomplishment...Keep in mind that not getting a top spot in this contest does not eliminate you from consideration at Marcher Lord Press. The worst case is that your proposal will simply remain in line for its turn at the top of the stack."

Thank you ALL who voted! I may still have a shot at getting published thanks to your votes! 

While of course I was disappointed - I know that God has His hand in this. I also believe that God has His reasons for just exactly the way this turned out and I trust Him and His reasons. As Harvey wrote - someone must have needed the win more than you.

Regardless - I know how abundantly blessed my life is so while this was a set-back, this is by no means a devastating one. Besides - it would appear that while my manuscript won't be on the top of the stack for consideration - because I came in 6th place out of the original 49 applicants (and the publisher received many more than the 49 he allowed into the contest), I think there is still hope!
