Pelosi Promised the Most Ethical and Honest Congress in History ha ha ha

Nancy Pelosi promised the “most ethical and honest Congress in history” and also promised to “drain the swamp” in Washington if Democrats where elected to the majority.

How’s that swampy-changy thing goin’ for ya?

By all accounts, not that well.

Before we visit Pelosi's promises I'd like to visit the fact that only the Democrats would be able to keep a murderer in a very powerful position in the Senate for over 40 years. Only in America, only with a complicit media could evil be called good and good evil.

For years the media has been lauding the “Camelot” era. Sorry – a womanizing President – albeit a very handsome womanizing President-- who died a tragic death far too early in life – is hardly a “Fairy Tale King.” Now his long-suffering wife maybe could be part of the King’s Court, but all my life I have been befuddled as to why John and Bobby have been remembered by the media as gods. Photos of JFK with a boatload (pun intended) of naked women have surfaced.

I guess I’m the prude for finding that absolutely disgusting. Pictures of "Camelot" don’t exactly come to mind when I know this kind of thing went on. Unless of course we wish to use the lesson learned via that story with regard to ALDUTRY and the consequences of it.

I am totally sickened that also the very open affair with Marilyn Monroe where both brothers “shared” the woman was not only "overlooked" as was the fact JFK couldn't keep his trouser's zipped, but glorified by the media.

We have all seen the drunken, very disturbing video of Monroe singing “Happy Birthday Mr. President…” While people in the audience were laughing, I have always thought the obvious sexual tone Monroe used, the blatant familiarity she showed towards the married President of the United States had to make Mrs. Kennedy squirm. You think maybe? Where were the woman’s libbers then? Where is the compassion for a woman so obviously publicly humiliated i.e. the then First Lady for those morally challenged? Most importantly, where is the outraged media? Oh, that’s right, their outrage is only reserved for conservatives and Republicans. I always forget that part...

I keep hearing the vitriolic hatred spewed against Sarah Palin on the left. One of the first things they scream is, “SHE CAN’T EVEN FINISH BEING GOVERNOR!”

Yet they fail to compare someone who is not a self-made woman as Palin is. A woman who promised over and over and over when she ran for her second term as Senator of a state she had ZERO affiliation with -- that she would absolutely finish out her term as senator come _ell or high-water. This same woman who other than achieving the tag of “lawyer” has done nothing on her own save on her husband’s coat tails. She goes by the name Hillary Clinton. Conveniently I might add as she had always gone by Hillary Rodham until Bill's run for the President. But why pick at such pesky details?

So why is it that Sarah Palin is so bad and “stupid” according the left -- self-made, successful woman. But Hillary is so wonderful, so “brilliant” to them? I am vexed by this to no end. But there you have it. Typical Democrat/left/progressive logic.

I’m also amazed that every year the media comes out with some new book, special or movie regarding the “evil Satan” Richard Nixon, yet not a single time have we “celebrated” – media-wise – the impeachment of Wee Willie Winkie. I am of course referring to our I did not have sex with that woman finger-waggin’ President Bill Clinton. Where is the annual memorial for this event in history? Won’t happen. Yet every single solitary year Richard Nixon is rolled out to remind us how “evil” the Republicans are. Democratic peccadilloes of course faithfully excluded.

While I in no way condone the actions of President Nixon, there does stand out one distinct difference between Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon. Despite all of his “horribleness” at least Nixon stepped down in an act of sparing the country the turmoil that was sure to follow had he dug his heels in and put the country through the torture of an impeachment trial.

But not ole Willie. He not only put the country through it, but thanks to the media, the victimized women were demonized and Bill became the “first black President.”

Has anyone bothered to note that not a single one of those woman have been found to have lied - to include the woman who accused then Governor Clinton of rape? Yet we all know, absolutely and positively that Bill Clinton is a liar.

And if I hear even one more I-lost-my-brain Democrat or liberal say "it was a private affair" I'm going to run screaming into the night. Listen closely all those who have that Kool-Aid stain on their lips - this is why that so-called "private affair" became oh so public. See if you can just for a moment - jump on the logic train to visit the facts. I'll go slowly for the logically challenged.

1. A woman who once worked for the then Governor of Arkansas named Bill Clinton, accused said Governor of demanding sexual favors from her. Paula Jones was her name.

2. Her accusation was not only that he tried to force himself sexually on her, but that because she refused his sexual attack, she did not advance in her career within the employ of Governor Clinton. No sex, no promotion. Now stay with me here.

3. Now here's the important part - Jones claimed that those who did accept sexual favors/performed sexual favors/had sex with the Governor DID advance. Those who did not , did not advance.

4. Jone's lawyers sought proof of this type of behavior and lo and behold, we have Monica Lewinsky. One day a White House page, the next thing we know, she's being driven on the tax payers dime by Vernon Jordon in a limosine no less to an interview with Revlon. And lo and behold, she got the high paying job! Imagine that! She got this high speed job, this virtual child - only experienced with...ahem...cigar magic --- but she somehow qualified for this top speed job way up there in the Revlon corporation! Now -later on Revlon withdrew the job offer once the scandal broke but the fact is - you play you get paid - so to speak - and that was what Jones set out to prove.

5. Bill Clinton not only lied to the American people in his finger wagging public show of defiance, he lied under oath. We all know that now.

6. Not one, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THESE WOMEN have ever been found to have lied.

So pul-ease stop this "it was a private affair" utter nonsense. It makes the one who utters it sound like a mind-numbed Zombie who only knows how to parrot what they've heard.

Let's talk about another oft-repeated myth by the Left and Democrats. Bush spent all that "surplus" that Bill Clinton left us. For all of the challenged faith-based leftests – that “surplus” never existed. It was a projection. There was never any actual money in the “coffers” sitting in some bank somewhere for the Bush administration to have squandered. It never existed in the first place. Just like the booming economy didn’t exist during the last few years of the Clinton administration as well. We were headed towards a recession fast and furious but at least W had class and never blamed his predecessor for it. But why try to present a Democrat with facts? They ignore them anyway.

However, let me try for those who might be openminded with regard to this magical surplus that never existed:

If you are an honest liberal and not drinking Kool-Aid or hiding your head in the sand you will be able to easily dispel the “Bush spent all the surplus under Clinton” myth for yourself. I highly recommend it.

But I digress…

Let’s get back to swamp draining—we go next to Senator Byrd. Only within the Democratic party can we have a murderer and a “Kleagle” or as they are otherwise known, a KKK recruiter--as another very, very powerful member of our country’s Senate. Here’s a delightful quote from the Senator made in a 1945 letter:

Byrd said in the Dec. 11, 1945, letter -- which would not become public for 42 more years with the publication of a book on blacks in the military during World War II by author Graham Smith -- that he would never fight in the armed forces "with a Negro by my side." Byrd added that, "Rather I should die a thousand times, and see old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels."

And of course the murderer is Senator Ted Kennedy but you know that story.

You just can’t make this stuff up folks!

Only in the Democratic party could The Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee’s wife, Monica Conyers, a Detroit City Council Member, be convicted of conspiracy and not have anything splash on her husband.

They’re not divorced, they’re not separated, they’re married. Yet we are to believe that Congressman Conyers didn’t know one single thing about her bribes, the accusations that she threatened to “shoot the mayoral aide” or other such illegal behavior.

There was no pillow talk between the two married people. Of course not!

Then we have only the latest, but certainly not an all comprehensive vetting of this type of Democratic hypocrisy – Charlie Rangel. Not much more needs to be said about this. It is obvious Rangel has “forgotten” some taxes he should have paid, he has admitted himself “anyone can make these mistakes” – yet Nancy Pelosi refuses to force the former House Ways and Means Committee Chairman to step down. For those less enlightened that’s the nation’s Tax Czar. This powerful Dude has been overseeing the way we all pay our taxes.

Oh, he gave up his gavel for that - but tell us Nancy, in your swamp cleaning - why does this man still hold a place in your most honest and ethical Congress in history?

Seems there is still a seriously rank smell coming from that swamp and it’s all coming from DEMOCRATS!

Last, but by no means least is Queen Pelosi herself. Let’s look into this behavior, shall we?

Now OF COURSE even though Pelosi is still married and not even separated from her husband, she nor her husband benefited from this little backroom deal. I mean, she promised the American people she would have the most ethical and honest Congress in history. She promised us she’d be cleaning out that swamp!
