Mr. Obama a Man Without Class
79There are so many photos of Mr. Bush visiting troops I couldn't put them all here if I tried.
Yesterday the world was surprised with the sudden resignation of the UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Within approximately six hours David Cameron became the new Prime Minister. Just like that. Gordon Brown was a member of the labor party, David Cameron the Conservative party. Two polar opposites. Two men who ran against each other with completely different ideas for how to run and rule the UK. Yet, and this is why I write this today – when David Cameron stepped up to the microphone for the first time after officially accepting the “nod” from Queen Elizabeth, he was nothing but a class act. He made it a point to say positive and kind things about the outgoing Prime Minister, even naming some specific things Brown had done that positively impacted the UK. What class. What grace.
Something totally lacking – and I do not say this with any happiness, from
President Barack Obama. From the beginnings of his grab for the Presidency, to
this very day, Mr. Obama has been disgraceful and classless in his public and
sometimes private remarks about former President George Bush. We all know how
he endlessly refers to the “mess he inherited.” True, we were in an economic
mess. What he always, always fails to mention is this mess was directly caused
by his own Democratic party members. Our economy was doing very well until the
Democrats took over both Houses in 2006. Then the economy imploded after Barney
Frank and Chris Dodd set up their own personal fortunes with backdoor deals
with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. It sounds like a Mafia family transaction. And
for all intents and purposes, it was.
The downfall of our economy began with Congress, under the power of the Democrats – demanding that lending institutions lend to essentially those incapable of backing up their loans and unable to pay them. They all began to default eventually, and this domino effect led to the housing crisis as the defaults began pouring in at a record rate. Then like dominos – the rest of our U.S. economy followed suit and we had a crash and burn. All thanks to the Democrats.
However, even if all of this wasn’t true and Mr. Obama was correct – “it’s all
Bush’s fault,” the fact remains it is childish and utterly lacking in class
that he keeps talking about it.
Recently, Mr. Biden whispered in his ear an expletive that the world heard over
the open mike. Mr. Obama – according to Mr. Biden, found this hilarious.
Classless.
Mr. Obama recently referred to the Tea Party Movement using a disgusting profane slang term for a sexual act. This is our President and he’s acting like a street thug. It’s so embarrassing.
Classless.
Mr. Obama called out a D.C. Police officer, opening his mouth to publicly criticize the policeman saying the “police acted stupidly” before knowing anything about the details. He insinuated that the officer acted in a racist manner. Then, because he opened his mouth and said foolish stupid things himself, he had to have what is now known as the “Beer Summit” in order to make amends.
Classless.
It just goes to show you that a college degree doesn’t turn someone into a person of character. Mr. Obama is a glaring example of this.
I could go into endless examples of why this President has given only ONE press conference. He knows off the prompter, he embarrasses himself, this nation and the American people. At least he’s smart enough to realize that much. If George Bush had only one press conference, the lame stream media would be howling every single day relentlessly.
I can’t help but remember a recent President with class. It’s natural to go
back to the days when we had a man in office with character, who was honest and
despite the lies of the left, is a very smart and caring man. George W. Bush would
regularly meet with our military and do it essentially secretly. Not that the
media would have bothered to cover it anyway. But as someone once wrote, class
is how you act when the camera lights are off, when others aren’t watching.
That’s when the true character of an individual comes out. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/dec/22/bush-cheney-comforted-troops-privately/
Mr. Bush often visited with the military troops, their family members and
especially the family members of those soldiers who gave all. Read this article
about the goodness and class of this much maligned man. While you read, remember
that although Mr. Obama has had the time to travel the U.S. hundreds of time to
push his health care bill - he has
met only one time with his Commander of all the troops, General McChrystal and
he has gone only once to Afghanistan. Both meetings don’t even add up to three
hours.
Classless.

An excellent article with some solid points. I recently read coverage of the meeting between Billy Graham and Obama. The piece went to great lengths to stress how much Obama had wanted that meeting for so long yet it had been delayed time and again by Rev. Graham's health issues. When the meeting did take place, the special aspect of it, was that Obama had traveled to Rev. Graham's home in North Carolina for the visit. For all the hoopla that was created about the visit, it lasted only 30 minutes in its entirety. I find that a symbolic waste of taxpayer dollars when I try to imagine the logistics that went into placing Obama in that household. On the other hand, I think it was an important meeting and certainly Rev. Graham has extended his hand to all Presidents in the past and he did so with Obama. Sadly, I think the meeting serve no purpose other than to be a feeble attempt on Obama's part to acknowledge the Christian religion and gain some points in the polls. But then, we have to remember, this is a guy with no class. George Bush would have certainly handled it in a more meaningful. I am sure of that. Thanks for a good read! WB
Shoving the dalai Lama out the back door...Classless
Bowing to an Arab king...Classless
Refusing to bow to the Queen of England...Classless
Hands covering his crotch during the National Anthem...Classless
The fact that he will be a one term president...Priceless
We need to post this Hub every November till 2012...Thanks, Larry
As I see it, the Democratic Party has become the party of hate, and they're the ones Obama is playing to. Dems hated Bush, keep the hate going. He insults those the Dems hate. And even when he didn't salute the flag, it was a photo op for Dems. But - when there's hate, there's no room for anything except hate.
good job! keep it up!
Bush and his wife showed much more class than the Obamas could ever think of.
Keep on hubbing!
cjv123
I have to agree with you and might I add he's in good company when with our not so esteemed leader-also a highly educated man!!
I think Britain is so fortunate at the moment to have David Cameron as prime minister-he is a class act.
Very good CJV! He is that person from a classless family that had no class to begin with. (Jokingly - Obama probably had a 64oz beer at the summit)
Obama is not one that speaks for the majority at all. He is a rude and selfish person. He may not realize it but hopefully the people do!
I saw where some gov workers are indicted because they had the gall to try and access BO's college loan papers. What is the big deal with the heavy-handed way they deal with ANYONE so foolish as to seek info about this fraud in the White House. Also, wasn't it funny when he was lamenting the overwhelming use of techie devices in our world. BO even said he cannot operate these things, I wonder why he thought it was an acceptable gift to give the Queen of England an I-POD!!! Oh, yeah, it is because (as you said) he is CLASSLESS... and his dumbass wife is too!!!
The best picture I ever saw of the true Obama is the one with a cigarette dangling from his lips. He looked like the thug he really is, classless, totally classless.
When the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House Obama went upstairs to have dinner and kept the PM waiting for an hour or more. Now that isn't only classless, it is rude beyond measure. Thanks for a great article Sis.
Obama is classless !!! I'll never forget that joke about his bowling skills on Leno,..compaaring it to the special olympics,..he is also so narsistic !!! Keep hubbing girl !!!
I was surfing around in hub pages and I couldn’t resist commenting after reading your hub. I wish people would just be honest and straight. Some people are die hard, party loyal conservative republicans and they
don’t like or support Obama because you’re never going to---and that’s really all there is to it. Doesn’t matter what he does. If he cured Cancer and achieved world peace, you still wouldn’t like or support him. Instead of just being straight, people draw these painful, lame maps to nowhere trying to incriminate the guy to justify not liking him. And I’m sorry, it’s usually nonsensical. But hey, if enough people believe the same garbage, it’s not garbage anymore. Most Americans seem to see their reality through a veiled party favoring lens.
I’ve been down this road before so I’m sure you wont be convinced of anything so I won’t waste my time. Regardless however, there’s absolutely no doubt that primarily the Bush administration is culpable for the state of the economy with several historically bad decisions----including money dolled out to enter not one, but 2 wars based on reaction and false information. Forget the surplus Bush squandered, these kids were dying over there for WMD’s that didn’t even exist. If people stopped thinking like part of some polarized group---brainwashed, party loyalists, and thought clearly and unbiased---you’d have to admit Bush didn’t have a very good presidency plain and simple. And the only reason Obama has repeatedly reminded us that the economy is a result of the Bush Administration is because---and of course, people were already trying hard to blame him. Comparing Obama to the PM of England is totally baseless. As if us Americans were classy and accepted him graciously. Nor was Cameron taking over a historic mess in the midst of a recession he had nothing to do with. People started blaming Obama while he was being sworn in. No lie.
And Biden’s expletive was “Joe Biden’s” expletive. That was like a Sean Hannity statement: it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Obama but lets nail him with it.
As far as Obama’s “comment” about the Tea Party---again, the American childish word games. I actually couldn’t find proof of it on any respectable, reputable news site. Just unofficial conservative blog sites. Not surprised.
As for Obama saying the Police acted stupidly, well…to most wise and judicial people---they did. The MINUTE the officer realized that the man was a renowned and elderly Harvard professor who was in his own house, he probably should’ve just left. He’s an officer of the LAW, The reason why they were called was a misunderstanding, and there was no crime. Despite the old man’s bantering---instead of apologizing and just leaving, he still spoke to the Harvard scholar Dr. Gates who’s twice his age authoritatively, called him out of his house, put him in cuffs and threw him in jail. And just what purpose did this accomplish? Jail is for criminals and its not a joke. You don’t throw people in cuffs in front of their neighbors and haul them off to jail to give him a “time-out”. I hope the police do that to your father, grandfather or older relative and I’d love to see if you feel the same. It’s very frustrating that in 2010 people are still this lost in their own perspective. I know plenty cranky old men--including my pop. If I saw my dad who’s worked hard and never committed a crime in his life get hauled out of his own home by some brash cop half his age--I’d be very upset. Obama retracted the statement mainly to appease us babies. Even though the cop was still cocky and unresponsive, I thought the summit was a very nice, presidential gesture. You say he’s classless.
You favor Bush and call him a man of class. Bush was a former drunk and coke snorting screw up who never had a successful business in his life----he should’ve never been president. If anything, it really should’ve been Jeb. And you said he was honest? Wow. I think you’re too busy fishing for things on Obama and didn’t get around to catching the countless, and humorous caught on tape moments in which Bush looked straight into the camera and lied to you. People will just believe whatever they want to believe in the end.
cjv - you know the old saying - "You can't polish a turd"
Great hub and very pertinent. Recently, a hubber used sexual and degrading terms in the forums about the tea partiers. Another hubber, a gentleman, stepped in at one point and apologized to me for the disgraceful behavior of this first hubber. It was an act of pure class, and one that completely escaped some other hubbers on that forum at the time. So much so that they then poked fun at the idea that a man would even take offense at another man speaking in so vile a way to a woman. These mockers were, of course, liberals. And to top it off, they were women!
But they're following their messiah. And if that means that they throw their manners, graciousness (I'm sure they'd have to look that up in a dictionary!), and respect for others out the window then that's what they do.
Some Americans have let themselves become pathetic through following the liberal agenda. But if they didn't follow the group, they wouldn't get their gold star now, would they?
I'm glad you brought this subject up. It is clearly one that has needed to be addressed for a long time :)
Madam x, I really try my hardest to understand this dark side of the fence but I don't think I ever will. So some random hubber used a term that offended you, and it's president Obama's fault because he is their messiah? And now among the many right wing charges, Obama has no manners, class or respect. Just a real brutish, nasty individual. The only reason why this isn't extremely hilarious is because you all are dead serious. Instead it's rather frightening.
druhepkins - You're joking, right? That so-called "messiah" in the white house is just a symptom of the underlying powers that want personal sovereignty destroyed. He's just their tool, puffed up with their constant praise of him. When he's finished doing what they want, when they're done with him, they'll discard him like they've done to so many before him. And the sad thing is is that he doesn't see it. Look deeper dru, there's way more going on then the stupid nonsense in some forum.
Great hub...
I might not have been a big fan of Bush. but he tried. and I think he handled things well after 9/11.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this hub. Anyone who would appoint Eric Holder to anything must have serious psychological issues. He is a disgrace, and should have been disposed of months ago. I miss the Class act we had in the White House.
This hub is wonderful; I too agree with FGual. I am personally terrified about what is happing to the US, and to have these types of people in charge is only making matters much worse.
am I the only one that noticed Mr. Holder seems to believe its his job to decide if a law is constitutional. cant do his own so he's now poaching the supreme courts job.
Love this hub! I cannot attest to the truth of this, I can only say that I read it in a newspaper while I was out of town on business (I can't remember the paper-but I was in Ashland, Kentucky), but I read that Mr. Obama recently kept another White House guest waiting for an hour while he and Michelle had sex. Had I been that guest and known what was going on I would have left, leaving a "kind" note about not returning...ever. I'm all for sex between married people, however, not when it's keeping guests waiting...especially in the White House! Whole lotta class there.
So true. I think alot of the people who voted for him have "buyers remorse". Democrats always have to lie to get elected. They never tell the truth of what they want to do because the American people would never vote for them. I don't think most people who voted for Obama knew what they were in for.
so, in making a hub about how classless you believe President Obama is and that all of the country's problems are due to Democrats, you're not portraying yourself as someone with much class, as you define its meaning in your hub. everyone is entitled to their opinions, but sorry, I see no class in this type of article.
Lets see exercising your right to free speech and critize a sitting president is now classless.
a Polite article pointing out the lack of decorum that the sitting president displays regularly. with polite responses is not classless, in fact it beats the teeth gnashing and howling that so many others exhibt.
thanks Id say theres alot of class and decency in both the hub and its responses.
It’s like I said, I respect that you feel that way and I was sure we weren’t going to convince each other of anything. You’re unmovable in the believe that a dumb president with horrible policies that lied us into 2 expensive, and purposeless wars was inconsequential to the current state of the economy among many other things so I'm not going to waste time going there. We can play with numbers all day. There's fixed statistics that swing eitherway.
And regardless what party affiliation you are, most sensible people haven't been voting republican lately anyway so there's no surprise there. There haven't been much options lately for awhile now.
I'll meet you halfway. I know its not just Bush. Everyone thinking in a box tries to make it one thing or another--one party’s fault or another’s etc. Everyone always tries to make everything black or white. Nothing is black or white; its GRAY. There are many reasons for the current state of the economy from the subprime mortgage fiasco with predatory lending, to wall street banks creating a careless casino-like economy, to the rise of crude oil costs etc. etc. Both parties share some culpablility because they often play the same games. But you can’t argue against specific facts which is this: The Bush administration is clearly responsible for many things that helped tip the scale toward a recession including 2 pointless wars, increasing our dependence on oil as oil prices soared. President Bush also increased government spending more than any of the six presidents preceding him, including LBJ. It's a fact. He increased the Federal budget by over 48%. AND- most damaging, he came in with a surplus and left with an astounding deficit; the economy began to plummet to oblivion in his presidency, ON HIS WATCH.
Apparently, you have no problem convincing anyone here. But you have more than a problem trying to convince the majority of the country and the rest of the civilized world that Bush was honest or an effective president. It’s common knowledge he was far from either. If the cameras were rolling and his mouth was moving, he was lying or just saying what he was coached to say. If he wasn't doing that, he was vacationing. Exhonoration for Bush is not deserved, and its just not ever happening. You mark my words, From the economy, to his ties with oil and the Saudi's, to his failed policies---with each passing decade Bush will live more and more in infamy. Case closed, end of story, and good riddance.
However, the main thing that struck me about your hub was Obama's incessant criticism of non-issues. Its seems there's nothing left to throw that hasn't been thrown (and missed) so here we are: He doesn't have any manners?? I'm sorry but it just seems like completely unpolitical, inconsequential Fox Newsy stuff going on here.
And hey Madam x--I can respect that you feel that way. I’m not validating or discrediting any of it, but yes many times leaders are puppets of something much larger. But I see everything including the kitchen sink thrown at Obama to the point it often doesn‘t make any sense. Some things have merit, but most are totally ridiculous and absurd. This hub is about him not having any manners. He didn’t even make it 100 days without conspiracy theories and attacks. I’ve witnessed a presidency in which there were the most ridiculous accusations against our own president---from his being born in Kenya, to his being Hitler-like socialist dictator, to him being the anti-Christ. When someone is guilty of something, it’s usual consistent with everyone’s disapproval. With Obama however, it’s always something different. When you listen to Hannity, Beck or Limbaugh, everyday its something new as if they need something newer, more shocking and more incriminating to stick. Every current event that happens, Obama gets woven into it as the cause. Because his opposition is always all over the place, I get suspicious about the opposition and not the opposed. I don’t agree with everything he wants. I don’t think I’ve agreed 100% with any president. But when there’s a lynch mob with pitch forks, I feel it needs to be justified and justification really falls short with Obama.
druhepkins
honest question here..
why is that you focus on the questionably nut job theorys. instead of what he actually does.
theres a thing called protocol. the US president never bows to a foriegn leader. its a culteral issue. it shows subersevience and that places the US in an awkward position for any talks and negotiations..
now that might not seem like a big deal to some Americans.. but other places its a very big deal. Japan and the middle east for one.
in addition psychologically it hinders talks becuase he has placed him self and this country below the level of who he is negoatiating with.
you dont Praise Dictators who scream threats at the country he was elected to defend. you dont have to be rude. but you dont say " what a swell fellow." it encourages a potential enemy who sees it as a weakness. Ala sucking up to the school bully.. the bully just picks on you more becuase of the weakness.
You dont snear or Tear down your opponents on a personal level. Even the Liberal Feel good crowd admits picking on people is not a good thing.. he can attack a position or an ideal. but the president of the United States should be above bad mouthing an individual.
George Bush never did. he even showed class after losing the election when he showed OBama around the white house.
and Bush never once, bad mouthed any particular individual even when the left was calling for assisinations, calling him a killer and criminal. I dont think I could have done that.
Obama couldnt even be bothered with sitting with the Israeli leader and his party and left them sitting alone while he went and ate dinner. if I did that to guests I had invited to my home it would have been considered highly rude.
I dont have to like the man to want my president to show class, even if I and the rest of us cant. I want him to Act like an adult even if we are screaming at each other.
I really want him to treat our allies as friends even if he cant stand them.
he is the president not a civilian with unwanted guests.
in short I want him to be as civil, polite and as classy as possible becuase he represents us to the world. if he cant act better than the rest of us, he does us all a disservice. becuase his protocol slips and unintentional insults will affect every single one of us thru trade, commerce and possible even war.
actions have consequences. and even more so when its the Presidents actions.
Its happened before in history and it will most likey happen again.
Its funny when I read druhehkins last post she started off I thought she was talking about Barry- OsamaOBamawith te line "in the believe that a dumb president with horrible policies that lied us" That is the perfect description of Barry He campaigned from the center on a platform of inclusion, cspan coverage,"publish all non-emergency legislation to the website for five days... before the President signs it,"No lobbyists- turns out 17 lies therewheres the tax cut for seniors, tax credits for businesses, tuition credits, Armenian Genocide - forgot them too, Barry also LIED about his different tone- but he fights with Limbaugh , joe the plumber and thae cop who gave his leftist college buddy some trouble then he and the other Dems cut Republivans out of almost all talks on health care. He cares so much about the economy that he leaves on a valentines day jaunt to NY where are his priorities? The whitehouse is a 24-7 jobin a crisis. now about his appointees tax cheat Tim,Guytner andnear appointee tRahm "dead fish in bed" Emmanuelwho forgot he was living tax free on a US congressmans property as required in tax code, what about Nancy Killefer who forgot her taxes and lets not forget the colorful liguist Rev "GD America Wright.Eric Holder nr i didn't read the 9 page bill bit I still have an opinion on it somehow funny I didn't even swee oBama move his lips when Holder said that. I understand your support on osama Obama (not my words those were Kennedy's rest his soul) I find it admirable you Stand by your man but bblaming the financial collapse on Bush- no clintons mess triggered down fall by a little event on September 11 2001. So lets get down to it- Bush not perfect but after the terrorists hit him the first time they found out he was not afraid to fiight back like slick Willy Clinton. Guess what Obama is leading us down that path again- oh npo terrorists are going to be tried in US courts That will show them we mean what we say and you'll go to a jail that has better conditions than the pitiful sandy ponkass country they came from. IF barry does not get tougher alot more attacks will come just like slick willy they kept hitting us no response no response, shoot some missiles rhat will show them... Ya right...a wimp jusr like that nose up chin up socialist we have in there now.
Don;t think I am picking only on you I would do this for anyone who needs to hear the truth.
Have a Nice Day
Tom Hellert, I think I might have to be your fan after that comment :)

We should be worrying about the next move from president Obama and the Democrat Congress.
The 2011 federal budget was supposed to be presented by April 15th. the ''just say no crowd '' Republicans have been locked out of the budget process '' Obama's open government and his way of bipartisanship ''
Today is May 18 and no budget to see, guess it's all behind locked doors while the president is in Ohio telling the people that the Republicans caused the recession and its the Republicans fault that unemployment hasn't bounced back.
Obama on the campaign trail, Congress looking for a 2011 budget, another untruth about the recession and just plain BS by the highest officer in the land.
If you missed Beck today check him out the expose is getting better. the videos of the past are enlightening.
Very "classy" Hub.
Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful observations on this very practical hub!!
This hub is a sure winner in my book! Where's Bush when you need him lol
This is a great hub - love all of the comments and the rebuttals as well. President Bush was a class act - big deal that at one time he was a drunk - we all have a past where we've made horrible mistakes and it's not about the past it's about what you've learned from that and how you've grown from it. President Bush humbled himself before the Lord and allowed God to change him. Humility is something that Obama serioulsy lacks.
A friend of mine had the chance to meet President Obama when she was in Hawaii and she really didn't even want to shake his hand because of the lack of respect she had for him. She would have shaken President Bush's hand in a heartbeat. The two really are polar opposites in that department along with many others.

Great hub.
The latest Obamanism just happened when he met with the president of Mexico.
In their conversation and press conference, Obama sided with Mexico and made Arizona seem like a rogue state.
This is a topic for another hub, but Mexico's Constitution is far more restrictive on illegals than Arizona or the Federal Government, even if the Federal Government would enforce our own immigration law.
Arizona is forced to enforce what the federal government should be doing itself.
Remember it is not only friendly illegal workers getting across our border, but drug cartel people and terrorists.
Good job.
druhepkins, i must admit you're on the ball... keep it coming... for the rest of you, do u really believe president bush is better president than president obama?
hubbers
take note of mexican law
If you break the Mexican illegal immigrant law.
First offence 2years in jail
Second offence 10 years in jail
I would venture to say that there are not many with 10 year terms.
In the US,ICE if they don't release the illegals they send the illegals back to the border ( many try getting back in often )
THE ARIZONA LAW BS 1070 TAKES EFFECT ON JULY 29TH
As President Obama said '' Adios Amigos ''
Glen Beck on Fox News continues the Obama expose, don't miss the show.
for those interesed. see if you can find a transcipt or vid clip of Wolf Blitzers interview with Calderon. Calderon slammed Az then when asked what Mexico did with illegals answered.. " we send them back" and said they tracked all foriegner and checked papers. is that profiling LOL
President Bush was NOT a dumb president. Thanks be to God that we had him there after 9/11. And it was not Pres. Bush that got us into this financial mess, it was the Democratic House and Senate the last couple of years of his administration...Barney Frank stood up and said there was nothing wrong with Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac! PLEASE! He barrelled right ahead as did the rest of his comrades and that's what started this whole downslide. President Bush saved this country from terrorist activity after 9/11...we have him to thank for our safety. George W. Bush realized he had a drinking problem and quit drinking one day never to touch another drop again. I don't know where the idea came from that he was a cokehead...never heard anything about that. And everyone did things in their younger dumber days that they aren't real proud of.Didn't Obama say that he smoked grass? Bush is a class act...the way he and Laura treated the Obamas and the way he organized such a smooth transition from his administration to Obama is further proof. Did Clinton do that for Bush...I DON'T THINK SO!!!
If Obama had an ounce of class he would never have treated Prime Minister Netanyahu the way he did. He is arrogant and classless. And if he were a conservative, I would still think that! How dare he apologize for this great country and bad mouth this country in front of foreigners! That's NOT what an American President does. We aren't perfect here in America...the fact that Obama was elected is definite proof of that...but we are the best thing going in this old world.
God bless America and God bless our troops and their families...
A Soldier's Wife
Corner stone.. Thank your husband, for me, for his service to the Nation. and God bless him while he walks in the dark places for our nation.
CJV, you and your crowd are prejudice! George Bush got this country into (2) wars and left a debt that will never be paid. Bill Clinton left money in the treasury. Bush didn't had a very high IQ, it has been mentioned many times. A. Greenspan advised him and said that he was at fault for the debts and fall of our economy. He lowered the loan requirements for mortgages and everybody. The Republicans have totally destroyed this county with their greed for money. I hope that you are rich and can afford to lose your money, like the middle class has lost their money. Our youth are fighting a war that never should have started.

California has 2.9 illegal aliens, Arizona about 450,000 alien and the Mexican birth rate increased 27%.
Some interesting facts about the president and big business.
check it out.
The white house some time ago said that he was making erroneous statements about president Barack Obama and the administration. Many times he will comment that the red phone (telephone # )know only to the president has not rang as yet.
Glen Beck show is reporting explosive information that the main street press and media refuses to report to the public.
Silence by ABC, NBC CBS, CNN, MSNBC and others is typical of how they refuse to report any of the negatives of the Obama administration and the inner workings of Washington,
For example I wrote regarding finance reform and cap and trade
I caught Glen Beck on Fox News, he was exposing the questionable
relationships of Goldman Sachs( campaign funding to Barak
Obama and some Dem's $33 MILLION ),the unions ( SEIU
and the AFLCIO ),Frank Raines (took $90 million out of Fannie
Mae ),Joel Rodgers (the Apollo alliance group, they wrote the
Healthcare Reform bill for congress ),Al Gore ( investments in
the Chicago Climate Exchange),Joyce foundation (connections
with Barak Obama and Valerie Jarrett) and president Barack Obama.
GLEN BECK USED OLD ACTUAL NEWS CLIPS TO
SUPPORT THE ACCUSATIONS
There are many reasons as to why certain groups or people would like to silence Glen Beck. Speak out and seek the truth from the government before we end up like Europe.
Nan, you can't debate with made up minds steadfastly loyal to one perspective. I'm reading nothing but hate, rhetoric, fear mongering and blind loyalty to a guy who I admit was charismatic, but the fact remains he's still a dolt who shouldn't have been president.
tom hellert---here we go again. the man's name is Obama, not Osama. Not quite sure why you've dubbed a known terrorist plotting to destroy America. And Obama is not "my man". He's your president.
cvj123, outdoorsguy, it's exhausting. I have double the reading with these posts. I respect and research what you give me, and then immediately uncover why it all isn't true. We'll just agree to disagree.

I will be happy to do further research to your illustrations.
Dalai Lama-there are pictures all over the net regarding Obama and the Dalai Lama. Same pictures can be found of Eisenhower bowing to foreign leaders (at least neither vomited on foreign leaders, that belongs to Bush). Yeah, he smokes. A lot of people in this country smoke. It's legal. You can drive while smoking. You know what you can't do? You can't drink and drive. Ask Bush.
CVJ, how about links to the deficit Bush handed Obama? Or the lack of tax dollars lost by Bush's tax cuts? Or the jobs and economy those tax cuts were supposed to create? Or a credible link to a WMD? I can give you the link to the treasury that shows how Bush doubled the publicly held debt while he was in office.
Obama's biggest donor was University of CA, 1.5 million, Goldman Sachs $994k, Harvard $854k, Microsoft, Google, to name a few. What's completely duplicitous is that it appears that some would have us think it was the company who gave the money when it was clearly the individuals who work for the companies that gave the money. It's also duplicitous to think that people who work for these companies don't give to both parties. That would be a complete falsehood.
Elwall, I'd be more concerned about why the MSM isn't reporting the Gulf oil volcano. It's a month later and nothing has been solved. It's scary to think an oil company has both the government and the entertainment media so at bay. Where's the accountability?
you mean the 433 billion dollar defict bush left his last year in office, as opposed to the 1.4 trillion Obama racked up his first year. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8296079.stm
lets see job loss under Obama is second only to jobs lost under Herbert Hoover.
I notice that when Bush took office, and the economy began to slide his first few months. it was his fault.. Obama takes office and the economy crashes its Bushes fault. Hmmmm double standard maybe.
Sorry Charley.. the Blame lies in the lap of Obama and the Democrat congress, some of the fault lies with Clinton for getting rid of the last of the thirtys protection bills, some with Bush, but the Democrat congress pushed thru the bills that led to the collapse and Obamas actions just caused it to Cascade.
But notice how bush didnt castigate clinton, nor throw out accusations against congress he just did his job. Obama and the left just chant Bush did it, no matter what happens.. Im pretty sure that some one out there is claiming bush swam out to the oil rig and blew it up so Obama would look bad.
so Bush still has class, as opposed to Obama who crys Bush at every turn. Hmm new childrens story.. the Boy who cried bush. of maybe the Obama and the little train that said no.
I wish I could write about such subjects as this and be as informative and forthright as you. I am happy that you can. I agree with you. I have always felt there was something not right with this man since he started running for office. I hope you stay inspired to write about these matters as you see fit. Wonderful job.
CJV123~~ Great Hub...Hello fellow Michigander! I second your sentiments about this President! He is classless. His wife is classless, and they are both disgrace to America. I find it horrible the changes that are being made with this administration and am embarassed that we have a person such as Obama representing this great Country! It is fearful to me to think of what America will be at the end of this term. I am praying for a one term Obama Presidency!
Jon Ewall- Make no mistake, I would never attack any hubber stating a "researched" opinion by calling them a liar, and I wouldn’t serve you with such an attack. Even if your researching for facts in a trash can. Lair, maybe not. Misinformed, absolutely. I only challenged and questioned the source of your research--GLENN BECK. You keep referring to him. That is who I CLEARLY called a liar, not you. Glenn Beck is a compulsive lying clown. When he was ripped apart by the ladies on the view (except Hasslebeck) and exposed for who and what he is, Joy Beyhar asked him as a newsman isn’t he supposed to fact check his information. Backed into a corner and forced to explain his proven false info, he deflected by saying he isn’t a news reporter, he’s a news “commentator”. That’s classic Glenn Beck.
Here’s a few more from a yahoo blogger named “Slightly Dark Francis”:
In June Beck lied and said that the US was the ONLY country that had a natural birthright provision. Here is the list of other countries that do:
http://www.numbersusa.com/content/learn/…
Glenn Beck lied when he said that the director of White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, "has proposed forcing abortions and putting sterilants in the drinking water to control population."
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/…
Glenn Beck lied when he said that $1.4 million of stimulus money was used to repair a door at Dyess AFB. The doors repaired were aircraft hangar doors and the cost was not $1.4 million, it was only $246,000 out of $1.4 million in repairs funding.
Jon, I can really post Glenn Beck lies and distortions of truth all day long. You really can’t see as I do, that men such as Beck and Hannity edit and twist their “news” toward their liking? Beck makes people red in the face angry over things he makes up and aren’t even true. I think that’s criminal. We have a scary pattern in the country of letting known charlatans gain popularity and influence, mainly because there are people who “want” to believe there doctored information.
I’m not even a democrat, or heavily in favor of everything Obama says. I just keep my head clear and my eyes wide open when it comes to all things especially politics and what I decide to believe. Everyone here seems to want ME to check my facts and research the truth of what I believe. But I’m not the one with made up mind opinions. I could only ask that everyone search themselves and do the same.
@outdoorsguy, of course it climbed. That's what happens when you start bleeding jobs because of the previous administration ineptness to fix Clinton's wrong doings (NAFTA). You seem to have missed this critical portion too. "The surging deficit was put down to increased government spending and a big drop in tax revenues." Not only is paying for a war he didn't start (Afghanistan now cost more than Iraq), but he's getting less tax revenue. By the way, Clinton also upped the PHD at one point but we all know that in the end, he paid it down. Something no one has done in recent memory.
Everyone knows the current economic situation is Obama's inheritance, not his doing. I challenge you to show me actual policy that has effected the job creation scenario negatively.
Are you joking about Bush not blaming Clinton? You don't remember all the right wing fueled comments regarding and out and out lies about the missing "w" keys from all the keyboards? What exactly would Bush blame Clinton for? Leaving him a healthy economy? A surplus? Paying down the debt? Passing along memos regarding OBL?
And kkk, surprisingly I have to agree with cvj123---very interesting name to say the least. Not sure about that one but its your world. Anyway, I do appreciate your support. I almost didn’t see you there at all amidst the crowd, in which I’m not very popular.
You simply asked if she honestly thought Bush(the former C student, class clown and drunk) was a better president than Obama (the former Harvard Law president and community organzer). What you got was another hateful burst of more of the real issues bubbling without a direction in her subconcious and words like real "racist", "for the oppressed" "elitist", were spit out like venom, none of which answered your question but is telling none the less. Thanks again very much.
FYI-Jon, one of my Beck links up top is incorrect. Regardless, probably the easiest thing to find on the web is pages unravelling Becks bold face lies, including the now famous youtube reel of him applying Vapor Rub under his eyes and goofing about it right before he was about to lie to us on camera and fake it. Knock yourself out---the stuffs all over the place. The real challenge is finding clips where he is accually accurate and telling the truth. Keep quoting him and getting your "facts" from his programs if you wish.
Very much on target. I am appalled often by the actions of this president. He will have accomplished something however at the end of all of this...
He will have effectively replaced Jimmy Carter as the worst president in recent U.S. history.
Great Hub! This guy needs to be impeached. It is amazing to read your readers comments, and how fervent people's feelings are over this one. I think Obama is doing a very good job sinking this country, according to the illuminist dream. The White House has had many scoundrels in it, but this dude takes the cake.
SueDoeNim 2 days ago
First let me say.. the surplus never existed. it was a projected surplus and before it could even come into existence. Congress spent it. Not Bush.
"Everyone knows the current economic situation is Obama's inheritance, not his doing. I challenge you to show me actual policy that has effected the job creation scenario negatively."
Your kidding right. do you honestly have no clue how bills impact the business and the Job Market. heres a big one... Minimum wage raise. as soon as the new rate took affect layoffs started in the smaller business sector.
How about the Health care bill. some companys have already laid off people citing the Health care bill as the reason.
I wont even bother to argue that one with you. Im sure your smart enough to know that bills affect jobs. and that its been in the news quite a bit this last year.
" Are you joking about Bush not blaming Clinton? You don't remember all the right wing fueled comments regarding and out and out lies about the missing "w" keys from all the keyboards? What exactly would Bush blame Clinton for? Leaving him a healthy economy? A surplus? Paying down the debt? Passing along memos regarding OBL?"
first Right wingers insulting Clinton is not George Bush.
I guess all the insults slung at bush, War criminal, Murder, Drunk, cokehead, SLime.. calls for his Assassination. were class acts right.
Healthy economy.. perhaps you dont remember the country staggered into Recession towards the end of 2000. large scale layoffs... any of that ring a bell. Bush gets elected. and Viola its his fault. it bottomed in march, tax cuts passed, it started to rise..slowly. then sept 11th and it slammed down again.. then a slow steady rise for the rest of the Bush Presidency.
and that Recessionis what I was refering to which I made the assumption I was responding to an informed public.
oh little side note, it was the Republican congress who proposed and passed the bills that " balanced the Budget" and to do what little they actually did had to toss almost all of clintons spending plans. in fact during clintons presidency. thanks to inflation the military budget fell by 100 billion dollars but social spending rose by 300 billion.
and to this day social spending is far higher than the military budget.
in truth there was no balanced budget. since the deficit never fell and instead continues to rise to this day. so if the defict never fell how could there be no national Debt or a balance budget.
and my point you so adriotly ignored.. Bush took over and was blamed for the recession that started under clinton, the economic indicators for the beginning of the recession were actually tracked as far back as 98. then Obama takes office, and the economy slams down. and its still bushes fault. in other words, Liberals will blame republicans no matter whose fault it may be. and to be fair some conservatives will blame liberals no matter whose fault it is as well. this recession is directly caused by Insane bills and deregulation.
this in turn is spurred on by BOs rhetoric, note how the stock market falters after almost every speech Obama gives.
the Presidents words carry weight, and there are actions and reactions depending on what he says.
and currently 18 months into Obamas Presidency he isnt man enough to say the buck stops here. instead he and the rest of you are BUSH BUSH BUSH.
in short the point to this hub is that Obama fails consistently to act with class and basic manners. where as G.w. Bush carried himself with dignity, and class even when some were screaming at him at speeches or even throwing shoes at him.
every president has a bad day, even G.W. but Obama Makes up for the days every other president missed. Parse it anyway you want to. but when a President issues threats and insults against Citizens, business, Leaders of allied nations, insinuates that the country he leads is a criminal nation. He is an abject failure as President and a Danger to the Nation.
funny thing about this.. I wasnt a big fan of George Bush and Im now defending him. some where pigs are flying, hell froze over and some one actually finds my ex demon in law attractive.
oh how the worm turns LOL
CJV and Outdoorsman, in 98, it was 69 billion and 99 123 billion. That's not debatable. That's fact. It's written fact by the treasury. In 99, he had paid down the Publicly held debt, 1.7 trillion from the time he had taken office. This is all a matter of public record on the treasury website. You are aware of that site, right? The one that shows Bush DOUBLING all total debt when he was in office?
Minimum wage bill happened under Bush in 2007. You do realize that, right?
As for any budgetary issues collected into a group of laws by congress, we ALL know who has the final say or the final veto and that's the President.
As for the military budget falling, cry me a river. We have more military than the next 8 militaries COMBINED. I prefer to care for our children, then attack innocent countries killing their children. That's just me though apparently. Seems the right wing contingency only cares about white fetus's.
Secondly, the 1st recession under Bush started March 2001, not 2000. That's what the Bush White House put out itself. Only the uniformed, much as you posture regarding Obama's recession personally, believed it wasn't the prior presidents fault. It's obvious that with NAFTA and the dot com bubble bursting we were headed for a recession. However that was a short lived recession, not the almost depression we have today that the Republican congress and Bush did nothing to stem. Why not repeal NAFTA? Reinstate Glass-Steagall? Not approve banks becoming huge? Instead they do a press stunt in the name S-OX.
I don't remember Obama specifically naming Bush. Perhaps you can point that out for me in the way of an actual, factual link? I'm guessing not, because we know it took the whole of the government to get us where we are. Of course trillion dollar needless wars don't help, that was Bush's doing.
Thank you cvj123, I appreciate that. Wasn’t quite what I expected and it actually brought a smile to my face knowing that a lot of people are good natured, a lot more a like than realized and want the same things, but differ with a lot of earth bound walls. I’m sure you’re a very nice person. So yes, cordiality and decency sustained, we’re 2 folks just tossing around different perspectives.
But back to my comment about Bush being a C student---it does matter to me only for him. For me, he needed something going for him on his resume, so to speak, because he never had much which was everyone‘s clue for the worst to come. I wouldn’t hold his grades against him if he had something else to boast of, but he doesn’t. He turned his life around late in life---which is never too late and always commendable, but he entered the world of politics with no proven track record of anything. Clown in school, all his businesses and business ventures failed, and Daddy Bush and the family always bailed him out. If he wasn't born a "Bush", politically he wouldn't exist.
I didn’t really like Kerry all that much either but I still thought him better than Bush. At least Kerry was a leader in school as a young man and not clowning around. If forced to pick between Shaggy and Scooby-do, I’m going to have to go with Shaggy. I didn’t vote passionately that year.
Anyway, I don’t hate Bush. No one voluntarily wants a bad presidency. I just don’t believe in him, his presidency or his horrible administration with vampires like Cheney making things worse for us. I can list for days how things were worst after his arrival.

"Secondly, the 1st recession under Bush started March 2001, not 2000. That's what the Bush White House put out itself. Only the uniformed, much as you posture regarding Obama's recession personally, believed it wasn't the prior presidents fault."
by 2000 the economy was starting to slide into Recession and the warnings began by dec 2000 even though the signs had been evident for two years.
By November 2000 US Industrial production output had fallen for a second month, There was a decline in 3rd quarter profits, Consumer sales fell with the sharpest decline in Auto sales. There began to be layoffs by December 14 microsoft announce its first profits warning. Followed by Dell, Compaq, gateway, intel, HW and advanced micro devices.
for well over a year Clinton and the rest, including republicans hid the real economy from the public. declining numbers, rising deficit. Rising unemployment.
20 dec 2000
“ Tuesday, the Federal Reserve Board's policy-making committee met and warned that present conditions “may generate economic weakness in the foreseeable future.” The Federal Open Market Committee stated, “the drag on demand and profits from rising energy prices, as well as eroding consumer confidence, reports of substantial shortfalls in sales and earnings and stress in some segments of the financial markets, suggest that economic activity may be slowing further.” ”
source-http://www.wsws.org/articles/2000/dec2000/econ-d20
“The economic slowdown underscores the deceptive character of the campaigns of Bush and Democratic candidate Al Gore, who both concealed from the American people the extent of the looming economic crisis. Instead they based their promises on false projections of an expanding economy and continued budget surpluses. Whatever meager spending proposals were made for education, health care and Social Security will now be scrapped.”
source-http://www.wsws.org/articles/2000/dec2000/econ-d20
and I do happen to believe NAFTA should be scrapped
Do a little research... the real Economic Data is available.
For some fun reading check out the 1994 change in the unemployment figures.
As of this week, the unadjusted Unemployment is 21.9 percent and rising. where as the Adjusted reported rate is about 9.2 nation wide.
CJv sorry didnt mean to hijack your Hub, and turn it into an economics debate.
druhepkins
sorry should have added this to my last post. I dont dislike you. no reason to. I may not agree with you on some things but that doesnt mean I find you obnoxious or Dislike you.
so hope you have a good day.
Outdoorsguy--no offense taken and we’re cool. We all tend to get passionate at times, but I don’t think its anyone’s intention to be vicious or mean-spirited. Hope all is going well for you also.
Cvj123, yes you can call me Dru. And I agree, different perspectives on these hubs definitely make the hubs better and much more compelling! I appreciate your cordiality so in turn, I’m happy to be as open and honest with you as possible. I challenge others to be straight, and I do so myself as well. Here goes..
I’ll admit that as an African-American (I'm really Carribean but you get it), I was initially proud that Obama was running and that’s what drew me to him at first. Regardless of personal issues, I still ALWAYS vote for who I feel is the best man or woman. So it wasn’t just him being African-American---Chris Rock made a funny joke saying “we wouldn’t be behind Flava Flav if he was running”. But Obama also appeared to be the better man who deserved to win. This was a rare occasion in American history and it was actually the shared, international perspective. He’s seemed to be “the” choice.
Before I jumped on a bandwagon and backed him, I wanted to make sure he was the real deal before he won my support. There were “Obamaniacs” running around I wasn’t going to ride that train. I wanted to know if he was in fact someone I could believe in and vote for.
I started reading and digging things up about him and McCain, and I was more impressed with him. He has a very interesting story and he’s self built. He lived all around the world and has such a rich and unique perspective. He didn’t just get accepted to Harvard Law, he became its President. He didn’t just move to Chicago and get with some law firm to make money, and he easily could‘ve, he went and became the Community Organizer for very little money and helped turn the town around. People there are still talking about his impact. He united several churches in the area on several projects and he was excellent. It was there where people started to see him as a leader and pushed him, not so much him putting that crown on his own head. Then he became Senator. I attended a wedding and there was a wealthy Australian doctor, the father of the groom, who said he was part of a group that was instrumental in pushing Obama to step up and they wanted to back him monetarily. I’ll never forget the pleased and proud look on his face when he was telling me about him. He knew him. People asked and wanted Obama to be a leader. He had a presence and the people around him believed in him. That’s important to me.
If nothing else, everyone had to admit Obama had a track record that pointed upward. I think he deserved a chance and our support. Of course, the democratic party realized he was a star and the politics came into play as expected, but I still supported him.
Also, this was a period in which experience let us down, and experience ran a horrendous campaign (McCain). Obama seemed intelligent, smooth, fresh and competent. His oratory skills and plans confirmed that. McCain wasn’t proposing anything and was just attacking him.
In a nutshell, I don’t see him as someone to be reviled, he’s an American success story. It’s an exceptional story. In my gut I can’t help but feel that tearing him down sends the wrong message to younger generations looking up to him: Work hard, strive for excellence, and then get torn to shreds by politics and opinions. I still see him as a hard worker who wants to win. If people worked with him with bipartisan cooperation we could probably get a lot done.
I just don’t see him as this big scary threat to our country the way some people do. I know you can't solve all our problems in a year. But I voted for him because I believed in him. It still hasn’t been that long. Now I’m just giving him a reasonable amount of time and time will tell how effective a president he is. Not premature opinions.
I'm so sorry for the book! I was just freewriting
Cjv123, I'm not sure if it's a lack of class or outright arrogance, but I read that BO will not be visiting Arlington on Memorial day because he will be on vacation in Chicago, he will however give a few words there right before they are wisked off to the Paul McCarney concert. Oh did I mention that he will make time for a few rounds of golf also. Does he love America? I say he loves the limelight and the perks of filling in as an acting president until 2012.
you know.. as a vet, from a family of veterans, whose Father was killed in combat JUl 4 1969. I have only this to say. Shame Mr. Obama. You could take an hour of your busy damn schedule to appear at Arlington and show the respect the president of the United States is supposed to show to those who gave their lives to this Country.
SHAME.
To be honest if anyone disliked a president enough you can write something like this for any other president every president has a longlist of moments of being unclassy as you put it.
From the comments it seems some of the hatred or dislike comes from his ethnicity e.g. one referred to him as a thug and secondly comments about his birth,Its a bit ignorant as he wouldnt be allowed to be president if he wasnt American, dont remember any other president needing to show thier birth certificate.
For the record he was 100% right on the police comment, the police arrested the professor on no grounds/ evidence and it turns out he was innocent, America has a long history and reputation on arresting and shooting innocent people based on race.
you know Johnshade... He was wrong, totally absolutetly wrong. in fact ive been in the same situation. Locked my keys in the house. " stupid I know, even the dogs gave me the cant believe you did that LOOK" so I attempted entry thru a window. while I was doing my amatuer burglar routine, some one saw me and called the cops.
I had to prove I lived there before they would leave. nothing racist in the Police response. and nothing racist about the Professors situation. in Fact.. one of the Two officers at the scene. was an African American who didnt believe that his partner had stepped over the line.
Get a Grip. Im tired of the Race card. the word no longer seems to hold the emotion it once held now thats being screamed once an hour for the last year and four months.
I mean for real.. I dont like your opinion, or you dont like my candidate. your a racist.
just to be helpful.. heres the definition so you know when to use it.
rac·ism
Pronunciation: \?r?-?si-z?m also -?shi-\
Function: noun
Date: 1933
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2 : racial prejudice or discrimination
CJV thanks for a good hub. I also like how its remained relatively polite. despite differences of opinion LOL.
I never said anyone was being racist, prejudice is different from being racist. I think some of the comments are prejudice NOT racist.
I'm sorry but referring to him as a thug (stereotyping) and birth certificate is certainly prejudice.
Prejudice doesn't only mean race, prejudice means stereotyping, irrational feelings, and a long list, its not a crime to be prejudice and its not an insult, im just voicing my opinion.
please read my comment again I never referred to anyone being racist. you used that word not me obviously you misunderstood me.
I think the comment referring to him as a thug is a inaccurate stereotype.
I think the controversy surrounding his birth is based on his ethnicity.
And for the police case its my opinion, I think arresting someone with no evidence is a stupid thing.
I was referring to some of the comments being prejudice not the hub.
I never said you disliked Obama because of his race, lots of people dislike him for a number of reasons, in the first paragraph of my first comment the point i was making is
'every president has their share of unclassy moments'. any one could right a hub of good things or bad, it just depends how much you like or dislike the person.
outdoorsguy- Obama didn't say the cops were racist, he said they acted stupidly---and they did.
Of course they were doing their job to check him out and see if he lived there. But they strayed from doing their job by finding out he did live there, then arresting him out of his own property because they didn't like his attitude. I know great cops and I know dangerous cops. And I know good and bad cops who make bad decisions. Sometimes people get carried away with the concept of authority and make decisions that are wrong, bullying, and against our rights.
There is nothing to debate about this. Professor Gates should not have been hand cuffed and dragged to jail. Who cares about race. Whether it was racist or not---doesn't matter. I tend to think it has less to do about race and more about abusing authority to teach him a lesson.
Lastly, sometimes people don't realize racism because outwardly they don't consider themselves racist or someone who makes racist decisions. And they probably might not be racist in many cases. But the officer probably wouldn't do that to a white man the same age as professor Gates. He most likely woudn't arrest someone in the physcological semblence of a father or uncle or older white man who wasn't a criminal and has never been to jail. There are physycological rammifications.
johnshade--I agree with you 100%
What im trying to say is people were skeptical about his nationality because of his ethnicity.
Im sorry your offended by the term prejudice. Prejudice is not an insult or offensive term.
I didn't think a 'greeting' was necessary to join what i thought was an open discussion obviously I was wrong
We have different opinion on the meaning of referring to a black man as a thug.
You only see my comment as 'rude' because you dont agree with it.
okay.. just reread Johns post. Sorry I took ethnicity to mean Racist.. My apologies.
"I mean for real.. I dont like your opinion, or you dont like my candidate. your a racist."
Let me clarify this sentence. it should have read I mean for real... when someone says I dont like your opinion, or you dont like my candidate. your racist" did not mean to imply your, me or any one else. just that Im tired of hearing that kind of sentiment..
druhepkins I dont think I said Obama is racist. if I implied Im sorry about that. I was attempting in a bad way to state im tired of people who screamed the whole situation was racist. and your right Obama did say it was stupid.
see this is ( hopefully) my faux pau of the week LOL.
though I agree that there are bad cop, and good cops. and cops drunk on their own power.
I grew up in the south. and Racism means something totally different to me than what most people use it for. when I hear Racism. I see in my mind the frothing at the mouth morons. who have become the popular sterotype over the years. I grew up around some of those folks, and I have them to thank for seeing it for what it is. cruelty, stupdity and passing the blame to every one but the cuase for their percieved problems.
and John I wont deny there are Prejudice cops either. People are people even with a badge.
so again sorry about any confusion my badly worded reply my have caused. we now return to our regularly scheduled program.
I acknowledge the fine line between prejudice and racism. I understand why you got defensive about the term, clearly i could have used a better word.
but i just want to make clear im not accusing anyone of racism. And i honestly didn't know prejudice was an offensive term.
I'm British so maybe i express my self differently, so I apologise if you were offended by the term. I never commented on a big discussion so i will take your advice on a friendlier approach.
It a topic that's driven by passionate opinions so no animosity from me.
This is to cjv123 and outdoorsguy, and anyone else whom misunderstood me.
cjv123 hello, I came upon your page by pure accident and I must say I find it very 'thin ice'. A line of absolute malice re. your president is very obvious throughout your writing and lots of the comments left....I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity of finding a couple of 'Diamonds'i.e druhepkins, johnshade
The classlesss nature of the Obama administration is overall arrogance. The reason for this is their complete lack of ability. Obama, and everyone he has surrounded himself with, have only been interested in gaining power, not how to actually do the job. This is evidenced by the unfocused massive legislation thrown at problems thus far in the term.
I enjoyed your article. You may enjoy mine called "Political Boon Doggle."
Thin ice.. Sorry Jandee its called Freedom of Speech. a basic fundamental right in our constitution. I hear China and many places in the Middle east arent so fond of that right.
OMG!! You people really exist!!! Heaven help us all!!!!!!!
wow vernie.. thats really insightfull. what scares you most. that we have rights or that some of us believe in them and think the president should not only set a better standard than the rest of us but also keep his promises. transparent government comes to mind.
Not using bribery as a political tool ranks high up on the list of better off not doing.
So yes we exist. and praying all ways helps. thanks LOL
cjv, I can't believe it!! I finally found a hub that covers everything that I have been thinking since this idealogue came into office. Not only do I love this blog, but your answers are well referenced and thought out. At this point in time, I believe the only defense for supporting this agenda driven product of Chicago politics and Saul Alinsky is the fact that people refuse to research the facts. Instead they listen only to mainstream media outlets and cable news outlets like MSLSD and CNN (The Clinton News network). They spew hatred for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Fox News, Sarah Palin, George Bush. Yet when pressed to respond to questions like "When did you last listen to Rush Limbaugh?" Their answer is alway something like "I can't listen to that hatemonger" I would then ask "Well, then where did you come upon your opinion of him, If you never listen?" They would say "Everyone knows what he is"
This is what happens to Left wing koolade drinkers. They behave just like their leaders. They are driven by an agenda, and refuse to get the facts. Fortunately these leaders should not be around much longer.
Thanks again for a great read. This blog should definitely be bookmarked by everyone, who truly wants to know what caused the mess we're in.
Well done.
It is amazing to me that the Republicans and conservatives can never admit that Bush Jr. was the worst lack of leader this country has ever seen. Oppression is never ok! I am always amazed by stupidity. Bush and his cronies screwed up this country, not Obama, get your facts straight. Since you brought up the class issue, what about Dick Cheney and Karl Rove, they are equivalent to Hitler or Pol Pot.
I just dont know how conservatives are so irrational. If they dont like the other candidate they will try and ridicule them by saying stuff like the other person is dosent have a birth certificate etc etc. What does that have to do with running a country. I think it is the reflection of the limitation of whats up here. Just like the 999 pizza bill. Which Im sure will be three pages long...
I assumed being a pro republican you would be following the republican nomination debate. It was Herman Cane the front runner who came up with 999 tax bill and that every bill has to be three pages long because he dosent have time to read bills. Herman cane was the chief executive of Godfather pizza.
And I was talking about conservatives as a whole. Some one in your hub has commented about the Birth certificate.
And on the contrary Obama has a lot more class than Bush.

Also a lot of anti Obamaism comes as a racial discrimination. Because a lot of wight Americans (mostly conservatives) see themselves as different from Color people thats why they find it hard to connect to Obama. In reality Black or White makes no difference to what you are or who you are.
Obama came in 2009. Recession came in 2008 due to US Mortgage. President until 2008. Bush. You do the maths.
And also about your facts about Cameron and Brown. Cameron ridiculed Brown almost every day and still blames everything on previous government. See for your self:
I dont know why you are taking everything Im saying personally. It is not a personal attack against you. I am talking about the republicans and the democrats.
If you read the first line of your hub youv mentioned David Cameron and Brown. If you see where I am at the moment, yes its the UK. So I know who is the President and who is the Prime Minister.
Thats why its so hard to have a debate with a republican or a conservative because they take everything personally.
Thats a bit cold. Ha. Of course I care, and you have not done anything bad to me so I dont see any reason to dislike you because you favor republicans. You have the right to have your own opinion and have a party that you like.
Its only that if you express it in an open space you would expect a reaction. Especially if you are ditching someone else's favorite people.
I am not a democrat or liberal. I listen to the person if his/her policies seems reasonable I follow them. I would favor Mitt Romney over Obama. I am a big fan of JF Kennedy who was a republican. It would be stupid to follow a party blindfolded, no matter what they put out.
And yes I do care what people think and say thats why I am here on an open form and thats probably why you are here. Unless you only write and dont read other hubs...
I dont know why we are having conversation...
Obama Rocks> End of story...

It's impossible for a Chicago machine political thug to display and class at all. It's as foreign as his birth certificate supposedly is!!!!!!!!!!!!!
