When I see the auditions for “American Idol” I am always so stunned by those who claim “This is my life” when they are turned down. It’s the concept “the grass is always greener” that doesn’t seem to resonate with these poor talentless souls.

Then there are the very talented ones who either make it to the coveted top 12 or even win American Idol who don’t always, but sometimes do, become mega famous. Fame can change a person. Fame can damage a person. Fame does not – in and of itself – entitle one to happiness or inner peace. Michael Jackson and Princess Diana come immediately to mind.

I have long stood on the side-lines of a concert of Michael’s and thought, “Thank the Lord that’s him and not me.” The demands of celebrity are sometimes overwhelming. Yet Michael handles it with grace.

As does Jeff, even though his is fairly new-found as both publisher and author.

So imagine my surprise when I, along with Hubbers Tim Bryce (Hub name TimBryce) and Wayne Brown (Hubber Wayne Brown) will be on national radio together!

Tim has had Wayne as a weekly guest usually on Wednesdays and I have had the honor of being Tim’s guest usually on Thursdays.

This week however, not only will I be Tim's guest on his regular podcast program, he has graciously asked me to join Wayne as his guest when he substitute hosts a national talk-radio program Friday, November 12 2010.

We’re hoping you can join us because you never know what can happen when a Texan (Wayne Brown), former New Yorker (who now claims Michigan as her home) and Floridian (Tim) get together. It could get crazy! Call in and join the fun – heck, we could make this a Hubpages talk party!
