It’s The Social Security Number Stupid!

I’m not a Birther. Although I will say, it’s a little ( a lot) odd that President Obama has spent millions of his own personal money (surprised he hasn’t dipped into our tax dollars) to squelch any attempt to flush his birth certificate out. I don’t care who you are, there’s only two reasons this would happen. 1) Barry Soretoro has something to hide or 2) He’s an idiot.
Just show the dad gum thing and be done with it. Why spend millions of your own money to cover up something if there’s nothing to hide? Unless of course, he’s simply very, very stupid. Which, judging by our President’s inability to say a complete sentence without his trusty teleprompter is not too much out of the question.
Now I will say, Joy Behar tells us he must be some kinda genius given he graduated from Harvard! Wait…George Bush graduated from Harvard too. Doesn’t that make him a genius as well? A shout out to Elizabeth Hasselbeck for putting that irritating woman in her place.
Regardless – anyone can come up with a very real looking birth certificate. Just ask Bill Ayres. Criminals do this every day, all over the world. This birth certificate of Mr. Obama can be reproduced, mocked up, created by his friend Bill or whatever. It’s not the smoking gun. If a “real” birth certificate suddenly did appear it might make Mr. Trump look a little silly.
Although I am
exceptionally happy Mr. Trump has brought this birth certificate thing to a
very active new light. It has happily led to so many other strange things associated with Mr. Obama, a.k.a. Barry Soretoro.
My interest really lies with Mr. Obama’s Social Security number. Now that’s
something not easily toyed with.
There are
sources that allege a number of things about problems with regard to Mr. Obama's Social Security number and this has greatly piqued my interest:

what Daniels with the assistance of other interested parties has confirmed so
far -
- FACT – the SSN President Obama used between 1980 – 2008 was issued in or around March 21, 1977.
- FACT – the SSN immediately preceding President Obama’s was certified by the Social Security Administration to be “true and complete”.
- FACT – the SSN was issued in the state of Connecticut.
- FACT - Social Security Administration cannot verify the SSN President Obama used between 1980 – 2008.
No where in Obama’s books, writings or interviews does he state he lived in Connecticut when he was a 15 year old .

I find this fascinating. President Obama was in Hawaii, a 15 year old boy with little money between him and his mother, yet a Connecticut Social Security number was issued to him. A number that actually belonged to a dead man too by the way.
Now this I find most intriguing.
It’s not the idea he wasn’t born in this country. I believe that he was born in Hawaii. I also believe one of the (possible) reasons we have seen little proof (documentation, papers, grades etc.), that Barry Soretoro actually attended any of the colleges he claims he has is because he applied for foreign aid to cover his tuition costs. That’s my guess.
So
there is that angle as well to this fight Mr. Obama has put up, costing him
millions to make certain these documents remain secret. Yet above all, I am
most fascinated with this Social Security problem Barry seems to have.
I also would love to see legal documentation that proves Barry legally changed
his name to Barrack Hussein Obama. That
seems to be in very short supply as well.
I wish to see a full disclosure from this “transparent” President of why he has a Social Security number from CT when Bill Ayers tells us in the two autobiographies of Barry he wrote that Barry was a kid living in Hawaii at the time of the issuance of the Social Security number. There is no possible way Barry could have gotten a Social Security number in Connecticut when he lived in Hawaii. Impossible—at least, impossible to obtain legally.
I am not saying these things are true, I see only circumstantial evidence, but I am saying this is an issue that needs to be clarified. It certainly needs to be vetted prior to the 2012 election. It is something that should have been deeply researched long before Mr. Obama was even allowed to run for the office of President of the United States.
On a mysterious side note: Michele Obama
and Barry aren’t lawyers. At least, not any more. Did you know Michele’s
license is inactive? Some allege this is due to charges that were going to be
brought against her with regard to some monkey business in Chicago.
Barry relinquished his as well. Why in the world would anyone “voluntarily” relinquish a hard-won, hard-earned law license?

I am so sick of all of this. Let's face it, the president has something to hide. If not why hasn't he put this issue to bed? It's insane. As far as giving up their license to practice law, no one in their right mind let's them lapse yet both Obama and Michelle did. Why? I smell a rat. Up useful and awesome.

Some states used to put the newborn's religion on the birth certificate. Hawaii may have been one of those states and his father was a Muslim. If that's the case, it would explain why he's reluctant to produce it.

Nice pic cjv. I believe though that GWB graduated from Yale. Still the same Ivy league education. He was a "C" student which we were able to find out rather easily. I still have no idea what Obama;s GPA average was though since all those records are sealed too.
The dots on all of this definitely don't connect. I agree with you. What is he hiding? I'd just like to see his academic records because they would be much more telling than any birth certificate would ever be.

But let me pose this to your empty and useless comment. IF Obama was 15 living in Hawaii at the time he was assigned a Social Security number in CT - how would YOU explain that?
How do you explain that this SS number was supposedly issued to Obama, but it allegedly belonged to a dead man?

Did you bother to go to the link I provided and do a search for Michele Obama and Barry to see that they no longer have law licenses? I did that check. Who would EVER relinquish their law license? What GOOD reason would a person do that? Most people who aren't criminals - simply keep their license and move on even if they decided upon other professions. They don't willingly give up their license.
That I fact checked myself and a search comes up for both exactly as I stated here.

I think the supression of his birth records have an obvious purpose; they would in some way prove he is ineligible to be POTUS. Why else spend so much money to hide them?
The hiding of Obama's academic records is more complex. A theory some have had is that he is lying about the various degrees and honors he received. I believed this theory too. But now, I think there is something alot more sinister here. It has recently been alleged that Obama studied in Pakistan circa 1981 on a scholarship. At that time, Pakistan was on the State Dept.'s "no entry" list (you couldn't obtain US papers to enter Pakistan). So, unless Obama had dual citizenship, and obtained the necessary papers from another country, it would prove he wasn't even a US citizen at the time, let alone natural born. By hiding his academic history, it makes it difficult to prove he went to Pakistan using papers issued by a foreign country, and hence difficult to prove he wasn't an American citizen at the time (i.e., not a natural born US citizen).

Is it possible neither his mother or his father was born here and that would appear on his birth certificate? That's another thing. Wouldn't that disqualify him as well?

It's impossible to know anything for certain about Obama, but the present concensus is that his father was Kenyan, and his mother American. His precise date of birth is critical in determining whether or not he was natural born in the US:
(1) Hawaii became a state very shortly after Obama's "supposed" date of birth. If it was a territory when he was born, then he is not eligible to be POTUS. Without a certified birth certificate, no definite conclusion can be reached, because we don't have proof of what his birth date was.
(2) The law in effect when Obama was "supposedly" born had special rules applicable for determining natural born status when one parent was not a US citizen. The mother had to reside in the US for at least ten years (his mother appears to meet this test), and at least five of these years must start after age 16 and continue uninterrupted up until the age of the child's birth. Here is where Obama could be in real trouble. If his supposed date of birth is accurate, and the supposed age of his mother at his birth (18) is accurate, then Obama clearly fails the second test (his mother would have to be at least 21 when he was born to meet the second test). The problem is, without a certified long form birth certificate, you can't confirm either Obama's birth date (i.e., determine which body of law actually applies), and you can't confirm the mother's age at birth (i.e., whether his mother met the second condition, assuming it was applicable based on Obama's actual birth date).

Obama did not spend millions fighting over his birth certificate. He spend 2 million+ in legal fees for his presidential campaign. Similarly, Mcain spent about 1.3 Million.

oh jeez, here we go. Walter Annenberg started the Annenberg foundation. He was an ambassador under Nixon. Annenberg (republican founded group) is based out of the Univ of PA. Factcheck is made up of Univ of PA scholars. The only tie to Obama is that the Annenberg foundation gave out many grants and one of them was to the Chicago Schools. Obama sat on a board with 8 others and approved grants for various school projects. None of the board members were allowed to own any type of stake in Annenberg.
Back to factcheck, as you can see, there is no affiliation to Obama. You really have to be careful what you read on blogs. They are not credible news sources.
Think about it really carefully, if you believe the birther stuff, think about how massive a cover up it would have to be and how ridiculous it sounds. Many people whom never met Obama (from clerks to admins to the Dept of Health Secretary) would all have to lie for him. Oh, and is grandparents took out an ad in 2 local papers announcing his birth...they did this on the hopes that one day their grandson would run for president and they could fake his residency...haha? Does that really make any logical sense??
The birther conspiracies have been proven false by FOX, MSNBC, CNN, etc. Every major network has covered and denied they are true (although Fox does a good job hiding the articles on their website but they are there)
Bottom line: Obama will run for president in 2012 and he has already been legally cleared to do so regardless of how many conspiracy theories are out there.

While I've never really been a birther, I do find it odd that every attempt to legally flesh this birth certificate out has been thwarted by Obama. As Trump has found, Obama has spent millions of his OWN money to stop any attempt to produce his birth certificate. Factcheck.org is full of it. This is common knowledge. The exact amount spent might be in dispute, but it's at least a million, some sources say millions. WHY? Why would Obama do that? Why the heck not just PRODUCE THE THING? There's simply no good answer other than - he has something to hide. Did you know also know Tom, there's an Army Officer sitting right now in Leavenworth because he refused to deploy until Obama verified he is truly the POTUS? The Officer lost the court battle - did we think the outcome could be otherwise? He's in JAIL now. No birth certificate produced of course - and now a good man sits behind bars.
This huge of a cover-up could definitely be perpetuated. The media is totally complicit. Just look at something like Tiger Woods. The entire sports media, a huge animal - knew about this man's disgusting behavior. How did we all find out? When he ran into a tree. cjv123 - I admire that you stick to your beliefs but I guess the bottom line is that Obama will run for POTUS in 2012. There is no legal way to stop him. Three district courts verified the authenticity of his birth certificate. Further, it was brought to the supreme court 3 times and all three times they dismissed the case (YES, the right leaning supreme court even said the birther theories are not true).
Again, I admire that you do a lot of indepth research but the bottom line is that you will see Obama running in 2012. No amount of birther stories will change that.
cjv, Great job with your resourcing! Some important things:
1- Obama was so smart he first attended Occidental College. Everyone seems to have forgotten that, not exactly Ivy League.
2- He transfered to Columbia when Black's received special consideration. Students at Columbia don't remember him.
3- The color situation may have gotten him to Harvard. We may never know because everything is blocked
4- Grades: Bush had higher grades than Kerry and Gore.
5- Obama's legal fees may be paid by others.
6- Does any of this matter anymore? If our current rating is lowered as a country, we will be doomed for decades.
7- Obama will have achieved his objective, and he still wants to raise taxes, spend more money and borrow more money.
8- He will probably go to Kenya for safety, when no longer President.
9- He will go down in history as the worst President ever.
10- The intelligence level of American's will continue to go down.

Also, social security numbers are continuously used over and over again, so it may be that he got a ssn from some dead guy in Connecticut. What good points does Harvey make?Also, Bush had basically a free ride to what ever school he wanted to go to seeing as how his father was a prominent politician. Obama says he was born in Hawaii. But we can't prove that either, because he's got all his records under seal.

Of course he won't show you his confidential, personal information, because he should'nt have to! Will you show me yours? And I apologize for the mistake I made. SSN are not used over and over again. We were talking about SSN's in one of my classes and my teacher who is republican, if that matters at all, told us that they are used over and over again. That was completely my fault, and after doing some REAL research (which I should have done in the first place) I realize that my first hypothesis is incorrect. Perhaps Obama does have a hazy past, but he is president now and he is eligible to run for president, so I still am unaware of the big deal? This is for Stu- the duck analogy doesn't really work out in this situation as it isn't so black and white as you put it, if that makes since.

Remember Youngone of 14, this really was using irony. I wasn't actually serious. Much of my Hubs are serious, but this one was pretty much 99% tongue in cheek. You're right, he is President, he is eligible to run for President for a second term and I doubt anything here (for now) will impeach him.
And I'm sorry your teacher - Republican or not - led you astray. What bothers me is that you know the political leanings of ANY teachers. It's not proper. Worse, they gave you incorrect information. But that happens to us all (we trust something someone we trust tells us) and for the most part, most teachers won't tell you something they don't know to be factual. That was unfortunate. You can't possibly look up everything that every teacher tells you, so you have to rely on their integrity sometimes.

Obama's refusal to make his birth and academic records public are extremely disturbing. He wouldn't be hiding them if he didn't have a reason.
The point about the birth certificate is obvious; it may show directly that he is ineligible to be POTUS. The academic records may have a connection to the same issue. Obama is believed to have studied in Pakistan in 1981 on a scholarship. In 1981, the US State Department had Pakistan on its "no entry" list (you couldn't get official sanction from the US to enter Pakistan). So the question is, where did he get it from? Was Obama a citizen of another country at the time? Did he at least have dual citizenship in the US?
The bottom line is that if Obama's pre-Chicago records weren't damning in some way, he wouldn't be hiding them.

The reason he does not want to show his personal information to the world is because it is HIS PERSONAL information. His birth certificate matters none what-so-ever. He is an american and eligible to be potus whether he was born in America or not because his mother was an American and lived in america more than 5 years prior to his birth. People aren't going to vote for those who they think are the best for the job. They are going to vote for their friends. We all know this is true. That's why political parties should be abolished. People need to confess their ideas to everyone and then we should pick the people who share our ideas. It's so much more fair! That would create such a less corrupt government and hopefully there would be more people there to help the people of America. He is an american and eligible to be potus whether he was born in America or not because his mother was an American and lived in america more than 5 years prior to his birth." - This may or may not be true. The "natural born citizen" law (in regard to children born of a single American parent) at his stated date of birth required the American parent (his mother) to be continuously present in the US for five years, following age 16, and leading up to the date of the child's birth. According to the data available, his mother was 18 when he was born, showing she failed the test required to confer American citizenship onto Barrack. The problem is that without a certified birth certificate, we don't know what body of law applies, because we have no proof of Obama's precise birth date (i.e., the definition of "natural born" hinges on date of the child's birth, since the legal definition has been subject to periodic changes by Congress).
"And yes his questionable and mysterious, pre-Chicago past is hazy, but can we not think the best of people, especially the potus." - You really can't assume ethics from office. For example, Jack Welch and Warren Buffett were/are highly ethical and competent corporate leaders. Bernie Ebbers and Dennis Koslowski were horrendous crooks who were sentenced to long prison terms.

It's about the truth. Why would someone hide their birth certificate and scholastic transcripts FOR NO REASON? Think about it; if these records would make the Birther issue go away, any sane person would release them in a heartbeat.

Well, he finally has made public his official birth certificate. I thought he was probably a citizen for several reasons. First of all, this birther movement was started by Hillary Clinton supporters. If he had not been a citizen, the Clintons would have surely used this for their gain. However, this was just one of many things that are disturbing about thie President. You have mentioned them in your hubs - SSN, school records, Jerimiah Wright, Bill Ayers, etc. We were fooled in 2008 ... hopefully not in 2012.
Joe Citizen, I also still have a very real problem with the leadership of this man - Barry or Barrack, whoever he is. Why did it take a private citizen to flush out his dad gum long form birth records? Why didn't he just do it in the first place? Why would he spend millions of his supposedly own personal finances to block every attempt to produce this thing ONLY to produce it ultimately?! It makes ZERO sense.
I have also always believed he was born on U.S. soil - but for me, the issue wasn't was he or wasn't he born in Hawaii - I have always thought he was. The issue is what this President did to block any efforts to produce a document that supposedly was always available. What in the world would he do this for??
