How Do You Define The Obama Administration's Insanity?

How does that go? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome each time.
So then the Presidency of Mr. Obama begs the question, is he, well…insane?
While this is going to be penned prior to the big announcement Mr. Obama will be bestowing upon our most fortunate heads on Thursday, leaks from the White House warn us his teleprompter doesn’t have any fresh new ideas. More spending (taking tax payer money and throwing it at things he deems are worthy), higher taxes for the “rich” – the “rich” being anyone who pays taxes…and there’s that old stalwart “shovel ready jobs” (leaning heavily on stop-global-warming type jobs for a crisis that only exists in Al Gore’s mind) idea.
Yeah right, how’s that been working for you Mr. President?
There appears to be zero new ideas coming from Barry’s Enchanted Teleprompter so when in doubt, give another speech spouting the same nonsense anyway!
A look at speeches in August of 2010 show Mr. Obama literally saying exactly the same thing he has been saying over and over including the line “and when I get back from my Martha’s Vineyard vacation” I’m going to come up with some ideas that Congress should implement that will produce jobs immediately. Remember that was our “Summer of Recovery”. Kinda eerie if you ask me. That’s actually what Joe and Mr. Obama called it back in the summer of 2010. Have we collectively as Americans recovered? Sure we have!
Oh, we haven’t? You say not one thing the Obama administration has done in almost three years has created even one job? Come on, those “saved jobs” the Obama administration talked about ad nauseum must count for something? You say they’re nothing but a figment of Mr. Obama’s imagination? Merely a teleprompter talking point and not reality?
Well who the heck knew?
Mr. Obama was saying the same things listed above as recently as his taxpayer funded “bus tour” that wasn’t really a bus tour in the first place. It was a campaign tour. If it walks like a duck...
Snippets of speeches from this recent tour have him saying when he would get back from Martha’s Vineyard (at $50K a night BTW) he was going to reveal his ideas for creating jobs immediately. Just as he promised this same time last year. Yet in that year, not one, nada, zip jobs have been created. What was that definition of insanity again?
Something else I found out about that bus tour. It was a staged bus tour. You the taxpayer paid for all of these fancy multimillion-dollar busses that the President never used for anything other than a photo op.
Tim Bryce of The Bryce is Right brought this to my attention. Tim and I aren’t making this up. What was made up however was this folksy, I’m-everyman, kind of atmosphere the Obama administration wanted to portray on this bus tour.
It was nothing but smoke and mirrors.
Mr. Obama in reality, flew to all of these places. He never drove one mile on these busses. He’d fly to the place he would be speaking at, then he’d get on the bus and get off right before his speech so photos would show him as if he traversed our great fruited plains camper-style.
And you’ll love this one, he flew the busses to these campaign, hand-shaking-baby-kissing stops as well! I’ll wager if someone were allowed to check the odometer on these busses they’d read 6 or less miles. You paid for them to be photo ops props folks. Now isn’t that special?
Do any of the 35% of those who still believe Mr. Obama is “all that” according to the polls see the major character flaw in anyone who would even allow such a thing no less participate in it? If it’s a “Magical Misery Tour” (as it was allegedly snickered about behind his back), and you’re flying, then just fly Dude! Why spend so much money that isn’t really your money in the first place, on a façade, a fraud, a con game?
Does this man have no shame? Do those who would still vote for him stop and ponder these things at all? If they don’t, please, please, I beg you, do the country a favor and don’t vote, just stay home in 2012.
I have to ask, why does he continue to repeat these stunts?
I can only hope his big speech this Thursday won’t be a repeat of his other failed fixes for the economy.
If this speech isn’t new, if it contains the same talking points he’s always been using such as: It’s Bush’s fault, Wall Street’s Fault, Banks are responsible, Partisan politics, we need more taxes, we need more “energy jobs”, we need more unemployment money for the unemployed blah, blah, blah…don’t we all need to think seriously about something?
Perhaps an intervention with a psychiatrist would be prudent. I’m just sayin’…

As you said, he does the same thing over and over again with the same results. My conclusion is he's getting the results he wants. They're not the results we want, not results good for the country, but they're the results he wants, which are the results George Soros wants.
How nice of the great messiah to help improve our carbon footprint by flying buses around in a pathetic attempt to seem like the "every man". All I can say is, pray for Obama Psalm 109:8 May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership.
I think it's time for Mr. Obama the step aside and go get another job, he's smart, good looking with a great resume I'm sure he could get a job. But stay out of politics. There is no hope on the other side so we need a real person who can lead and work for this country not another bought and paid for politician.

I know Sunflower - isn't the hypocrasy too over the top?! Where's the outcry that Obama is hurting the environment with his carbon emissions for crying out loud? Obama is getting ready to undermine Congress by giving the EPA power to truly damage the Coal Miners with new CARBON emission regulations. Clean air and all that are a must. Insanity is an understatement, his actions and behavior go far beyond a word as simple as insanity. The scary and interesting thing is he still has a loyal following that would still vote for him if he had them rounded up and put in labor camps. Whoa, I said "labor," and we all know there is no need for labor right now. Perhaps after he reads his next speech next Thursday we will add at least a few jobs to the economy.
To even think that this guy, who may not even be a legal citizen of this country, could do this much damage in less than 4 years is beyond comprehension. That this could even happen would tell me we have some serious flaws in our safeguards that would allow one guy and a handful of his handpicked advisers to take down the most powerful nation in the world in only 3 years. Oh wait, I forgot that Bush did it.
Obama is going to lay the blame at the foot of Congress, at least that part of Congress that is Republican. His idea is to bankrupt America and the way to do that is to spend more money. Why not just set our tax money on fire? As for the bus stunt. I had no idea and now I am madder than ever. Now he has his own army, the unions, and now on top of being mad I'm scared. Is this America? Up interesting, useful and awesome.
Barack Hussein Obama is a one trick pony. He can read a teleprompter and swivel his head back and forth as he does so better than just about anyone. He's handsome and his voice is marvelous.
But that's it.
As a president and a leader, he's a colossal failure. He has no idea how the jump-start the economy, and he won't listen to those who do know because he's also a far-left ideologue, who believes government is the answer to everything.
He will tell us Thursday that we need to keep on trying what has already failed.

Once again without a supportive congress what can Obama do? No plan but tax cuts from the right that failed to produce any jobs. We spent 3 trillion and lost 8 million jobs. End the tax cuts and use that money to invest and most important BUY AMERICAN! The rich can afford to pay 4% more. End the tax cuts and the debt would be cut in half in 10 years.
Let the Bush tax cuts expire, the economy will completely decimate, the debt will double or greater, unemployment will go to 18% or higher.

WOW! Have I missed the Hub! I forgot about the intellect the Hub attracks. To dial in and get the truth is so refreshing. Unlike most of you, I was watching, listening, reviewing, evaluating and using common sense to make sense of all the insanity that the media throws at us. For instance, the bus tour..infact the bus..whowould have known that the "Secret Service" bought and paid for it and that said bus will be used by the republican Presidential candidate?? who would have know that? Obama has failed, why when he took office unemployment was at 9.25%, his slow action has kept it at 9.1%..where did those pitiful jobs come from? Could some be from the "auto" industry? Which he stupidly bailed out? Yes, the economy came back a little..maybe he didn't give enough of a "tax" holiday that put money back in people's pockets. Even tho it was the largest given back to tax payers. Lets not forget that dumb "cash for clunkers" that tax payers claimed assured them transportation to jobs, what the heck..they were probably going to be laid off anyway. And those college grads, why did he make it easier for them to repay thier loans..and the fact that loans are cheaper because he cut out the middle man (Mr. Bank)..they probably won't get jobs anyway. Pres. Obama is a racist, he seems to care to much about the human race. He is always thinking of ways to piss us off, with his give back to the people attitude...most don't care or remember what he has tried to accomplish, but we all know he used that damm "teleprompter" a lot. Even if he may have been trying to make sure he remembered to relay everything, it just made him seem old and forgetful...who needs it!

PJ - I didn't post your comments because they have to be approved and I was busy today. That was the only reason. I had a dear friend come to visit from out of town. I'm having a blast with her. I haven't really been on-line much all day.
About the busses - when you say "The Secret service paid for them" that means, the taxpayers paid for them. And we'll see if the Republican candidate will use them. Regardless, my gripe is the facade - the con game Mr. Obama played. Re-read what I wrote. I don't deny any President buses to go out and "see the people" but let's not kid ourselves - the taxpayers paid for Mr. Obama to go on a campaign tour. So they lied about that. Second of all it wasn't a "bus tour" at all. They FLEW everywhere. So the taxpayer paid for (via the Secret Service - who do you think pays for the Secret Service???) buses that were NEVER USED except to PRETEND they were using them. They flew themselves AND the dad gum buses or a PHOTO OP. Just because later some Republican candidate MIGHT use them is irrelevant. And trust me if any Republican candidate used them and just PRETENDED to tour the country on them when they were actually flying themselves along with the buses - I would slam them for doing that too.
You are missing the point entirely. The point is at taxpayers expense Mr. Obama went on a campaign tour using especially expensive tripped out buses that he never used for what he was PRETENDING he used them for. At SUPER SUPER expense to the taxpayer. JUST for a photo op. Don't you see that?

On Jan. 2009 unemployment was 7.8% not 9.25%.At a cost of $200,000 per job, the stimulus package spent $1trillion and unemployment went up to 9.1%.

The tax holiday on cutting payroll taxes on working Americans was to save them $1200 a year. The cost of which was a loss of revenue to the Social Security Trust fund. Note that 14 million workers without a job did not get a tax break, simply because they are unemployed. What the President didn’t tell the public was that the US treasury WAS TAKING MONEY ( taxpayer ) FROM THE GENERAL FUND ( $ millions )to replace the so-called lost revenue. A hidden tax that Obama will not disclose, more smoke and mirrors.
PJ - I didn't know this last bit of information. Thank you for enlightening me. Very interesting. Not surprising though at all. What is such a shame that this President isn't smart enough to see his policies aren't working (like Mr. Clinton realized) and take a completely different course. But frankly, I don't think he has the character to so.

Obama is on the campaign trail asking the American people to call their Congressional representative requesting them to pass the AMERICAN JOBS ACT. What the President has not disclosed is that the plan/ Bill is not even in Congress as yet, meaning NOT WRITTEN YET.
The $447 billion he asked for was only $300 billion last week. Why would any one in their right mind believe him now? The last stimulus bill was a failure only because the private sector was not included.
Note that the jobs plan is a mix of new ideas ( not put on paper ) , extensions and expansions of existing failed policies. In the following weeks President Obama will present further information.
The 2012 budget needs to be passed, the Senate has no budget. All smoke and mirrors.

Texas - so you're telling me Sarah Palin used TAXPAYER money - to have a fleet of Secret Service buses made. Then instead of actually riding these buses, she flew to each stop and had the buses FLOWN also to each spot she went, and just hopped on the buses at the last second so she could be photographed coming off the bus? Is this what you're saying? The taxpayers paid for Palin's exesses like we're paying for the excesses of the Obamas? With her own money I don't care of Palin hired a fleet of monkeys and had them dropped by parachute at each stop each holding a box full of diamonds. If it's her money - I don't give a fig. The Obamas are PUBLIC SERVANTS and that facade cost taxpayers millions and millions of dollars for what? So Obama could make speeches? Yes Jon - you are absolutely correct. President Obama talked as if there was a bill just waiting for him to sign. What a pile of poo. Does he honestly think ONE business in the entire U.S. even believes him when he offers tax incentives for hiring people? Obama hasn't followed through on 99% of what he says he's going to do. He definitely speaks out of both sides of his mouth. Who is gullible enough to believe anything he says any more?
Wow Nick - well - it's probably a good thing I don't go to liberal Hubs. A few years back I did an editorial for a newspaper I was working for at the time. There was this big-time Democratic website that was really popular - kind of like the Huffington post is now. There were ads for those symbols you stick on your car and about 1/2 the products mocked Christianity. Then I read the comments on the web site and it was filled with profanity.
After the article came out with the link exposing the profanity and the company mocking not only Christianity but Christ and Christians within about 48 hours it was taken down. I find that especially liberals which now includes Democrats - tend to be profane, not very bright but they almost always mock Christians. Yet today they're the ones who went ballistic when we didn't want the Mosque built on top of the twin towers ashes. To this day my Hub that I wrote about why this was so insensitive of the Mosque builder to even suggest such a thing no less attempt to do it has the most hits of almost all my Hubs. By about 2000 hits. I couldn't even post about 1/3 of the screamers because they were so profane and out of control. Yet that same lot will mock Jesus.
Well - God won't be mocked. If they don't change their ways they will be worthy of our pity, not our offense.

Interesting! I don’t understand why all of a sudden so many liberals are against God. There always were people who chose to not believe but they still knew it was an issue not to mock. Now we cannot mock Muslims but we can mock followers of Christ and Christ himself. I believe people do not believe or are atheist because they fear the idea of being accountable for what they do and that there is something larger than anything on this Earth.

I caught several blunders on the Hub you mentioned - and one out and out lie with regard to Judges 21 - totally screwed that one up with a very simple to understand passage. I left him two lengthy comments just tearing up his assumptions. You know what happens when we assume...
There were SO many more blunders - but I honestly don't have the time. And notice his hit and run here. I got him on his "comical" comment. I'm so comical getting my shorts in a knot about Obama when Palin did the same thing eh? He missed the WHOLE point - if the taxpayer didn't pay for Obama's fake bus tour, I wouldn't care if he put wings on the buses and flew them to Disney World and spent his 50K per day there. As long as the costs came out of his pocket.
I care though when it's tax dollars Obama just throws away as he is SO prone to do. CHECK what the Payroll Tax cuts means to the paying federal taxpayers.Obama and TREASURY don't tell the public the whole truth ,as usual. I wrote on another hub.
Obama wants to continue the pay roll tax deduction FOR WORKING TAXPAYERS. THE UNEMPLOYED DON'T GET a tax break. Also note what really is happening. The treasury is taking money from the General Fund and transferring funds to the Social Security Trust Funds to make up for the tax cuts for working citizens. Result is that WE the taxpayers are indirectly paying for the tax breaks

Interesting Civ, so your issue isn't that Obama flew to a location and then took a bus to the actual site, but it is that he did so with taxpayer money? Is that what you are stating? Can you tell me a single time in history where the travel by the President was paid for by the President? Were you writing hubs about taxpayer funded travel for Presidents during the last, say, 4 Presidents? Of course you weren't. Are you writing a hub next about Nickey Haley using taxpayer money to fly to France with her family and staff, and party with the French elite? Of course you aren't. Texas, OMG - you really don't get it. You've missed the point here. While I did not write about that specific Republican - I have always included Republicans when speaking about the excesses of those in Congress and the Senate. Always. You are so off the mark about me. I am no ideologue. There is no way I would follow ANY political party blindly. I verify always. If tomorrow the Republican party turned into the kind of political party that Democrats have become, I'd drop the party like a hot rock. I place my trust in Jesus Christ and Him alone. I will never every place my trust in "man" i.e. an organization run by men. That includes my church. Right now, my church adheres to Biblical principles. They openly show the money that goes in and out. My Pastor and his assistant Pastor are humble men of God. We have been members for over six years (due to my husband being in the Army - only since his last assignment and retirement have we actually made our membership to any church "official"). I love my church. But if tomorrow my Pastor started spewing racist propaganda and having an affair with a someone - my husband and I would seek somewhere else to worship.

Here's where the big difference is between us Texas. I live by a set of codes (so to speak). I live by Christ Jesus my Lord and Master. His edicts are clearly defined in the Bible. I fail Him EVERY day, but that is where my energy goes - in TRYING to faithfully serve Him. I see the world through His eyes. I see people through His Word. There are certain moral standards that must be met. Just because someone is in a political organization I happen to use because (generally) their ideas line up with the Bible doesn't mean when an individual does something stupidly selfish with taxpayer money I'd give them a pass. I do not and have not.
NOW - having said all of that - if you had read all of my Hubs (and I would never expect you to, I'm just saying it to make a point) you would know that I do not give the Republicans a pass. I loved, and I mean love like he's a dear brother to me - George W. Bush - yet I still didn't even give HIM a pass. It is reflected in my writings.
My litmus test is Biblical principles. I don't care WHO they are - if they violate these principles - I'll hammer them. Even when it comes down to the military. I tend to have a huge soft spot for them but I wrote a Hub quite unfavorable to General McChrystal (all with regard to my appearance on the Fox news network.
Now to address your problem about Palin (what is it with you and Sarah Palin? She's not even holding an office and you're going nuts over her). I have never written a Hub complaining about Mr. Obama taking his family on the taxpayer dime with him anywhere. Immediate family is something I would expect a family to bring with them especially on a campaign tour - mistresses no -as with John Edwards - but wife and children - no problem. That is with both Republicans and Democrats. But you keep throwing straw men into this discourse.
We are in terrible economic times. Mr. Obama could have stayed in any number of places - literally in the world - but he chooses to stay in Martha's Vineyard for 50K a day? He wastes millions and millions of tax dollars on buses HE LITERALLY DOESN'T USE - just so he can take a photo making him look like he's "everyman?" This is DISGUSTING. This shows - as most of us all know - he is a self-centered, egomaniac who doesn't give a rat's be---hind about the American people.

The president did not ask for $300 Billion last week, that was speculation going around, about what he might ask for. Yes the bill is written, find it in .gov. Back in the day, people were roasted, for disbelieving, they were considered heritics, thought not to deserve any respect or human consideration.

Michele's "staff" is three times larger and costs the taxpayer much, much more money than any other First Lady before her.
Mr. Obama uses Airforce 1 about five times more than any other President before him for what? For campaign speeches. He is always on the road making speeches, it is unprecedented how often he's running around making speeches. The list goes on, I've written about it. I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but most of mine comes from the Wall Street Journal.
How do you explain the Martha's Vineyard vacation at $50K PER night? That is beyond excessive given the economic times.
Look, I don't expect the President of the United States to stay at the Holiday Inn Express - believe me - but as I said before, the Obamas could have gone to Traverse City in northern Michigan - stayed at a world class hotel - played golf on a world class golf course overlooking the bay of Lake Michigan - and he would have helped Michigan as well as have spent tens of thousands of dollars per day less. Instead he heads to a liberal elitist island that used to block black and Jewish vacationers from its shores. Did you know that? The only blacks there now aside from the Obama's visit is the HELP.
I urge you to read "The Politician" by Andrew Young - a Democrat. I want you to pay specific attention to the corruption behind selecting a Democratic candidate - the money that just flows under the table with total disregard for the law and most important of all, pay attention to the traditional (going back decades) way of "anointing" the candidate. It's a party thrown by rich white men and during the Edwards selection (it's already pretty well known who will be picked) not an African-American in the place save for the help and the band.
How has John Edwards gotten away with giving all this money to his mistress, breaking a laundry list of laws - thus far. Even if he does get in trouble it looks like it will be a slap on the wrist. How does this happen? He's a Democrat.

Today, 9/12/11 at a brief press conference ( no questions allowed ) in the rose garden, President Obama produced an UNBOUND copy of the American Jobs Bill held together with a large paper clip ( what a joke ).The bill was on it’s way to Congress today, not prior to his speech to Congress on last Thurs. President Obama announced that he would take his plan to the people and urged the people to call their representatives to ‘’ pass the bill’’. That’s called Obama campaign style propaganda.
Just another Hollywood production for all to see how Congress needs to take immediate action on passing HIS BILL.
SOMEHOW PRESIDENT OBAMA FORGETS PAY-GO LAW and the recent agreement he signed into law , THE NATIONAL DEBT BILL.

An update on the american jobs bill
NOTE that the cuts are short term as all of the tax credits and breaks are in the Obama plan. Democrats in Congress have been told by the President that the American Jobs Bill in its present form must be passed as presented by the administration. Members were on the floor last night ( shown on C-Span ) making speeches as to the need for passing the bill.
The truth is that the process is a circle in the same building. The worker keeps a portion of the payroll tax money, the treasury borrows an equivalent amount to put into the trust fund and the workers on unemployment, if Obama gets the unemployment benefits approved gets a check from the government. All coming from increasing the deficit unless the super committee can find cuts to cover the expense.
On Thurs the President said ‘’this is the bill that Congress needs to pass’’, ‘’ no games, no politics no delays’’.

President Barack Obama taught Constitutional law at Chicago University. There is absolutely no way Congress can pass ANY law until it is written and sponsored. Next a it has to be approved to go to committee after which, upon approval of the Speaker and the Majority Leader in the Senate , Senator Reid, a bill requires their approval to even go to the floor for debate, amend and vote. In order to move to the President’s desk ,both the House and the Senate jointly need to pass the legislation.
The President does what he does best. He is in campaign mode ,’’it’s time for action now’’. His actions today were disingenuous to Congress, the people and was a pitiful example of incompetence, irresponsible and disrespect of the highest office of the country, the Presidency.
The US Constitution is the foundation of our government, somehow the President don’t follow it. It’s about checks and balances.

It turns out - the ONLY thing the buses were used for - spending still more millions of tax dollars was to make it APPEAR that Mr. Obama was using this buses to tour America. They were flown to each spot so as was Mr. Obama - so that he could USE THEM FOR PHOTO OPS. The buses were never DRIVEN around the country - they were literally PROPS for Obama's con game.
You brought up George Bush using buses at tax payer expense that were very similarly equipped. The difference there was - HE USED THOSE BUSES AND RODE OF THOSE BUSES. And the economic times I venture weren't as terribly grave as they are now. Our debt wasn't triple the amount as it is now. But the point is - Mr. Bush rode in those buses and used the buses and didn't just PRETEND he was riding them.
Obama PRETENDED to ride on the buses. For someone who has no moral standards - this to those who do have moral standards this is known as A LIE. Mr. Obama lies like I blink. Frequently.

While the article actually gave an brief explanation of what those theories were, I didn't remember them and vowed to read more but never did.
